I finally got done organizing my desk. I have some "before" pics (apologies for the terrible image quality, I had to use my phone):
And some "after" pics:
The area behind my monitor is not only used for hiding my external hard drives, but my speakers as well:
Even from behind there, they can still produce decent sound. They're not brilliant, but I'm no audiophile, and I certainly don't need sound better than my ears can hear.
Luggage tag my dad picked up at a conference years ago.
Something I built in shop class years ago (all the way back when Apple logos were blue!)
Another crappy shot just 'cuz.
In the pics are a 15" C2D 2.16GHz MacBook Pro, PowerMac G4 933, 17" ADC, 15" 1.25GHz PowerBook G4, 28"(!) Hanns-G HG281D display (cheap, ~$300, and 16:10
), 5th-gen iPod nano, 2nd gen iPod touch, MX Revolution mouse (the old one, not the new crappier one), diNovo Keyboard Mac Edition, both types of Apple remotes, Epson WorkForce 600 AIO, generic speaker set. The external hard drives are 320GB (silver) and 1.5TB (black), using FW800 and FW400 respectively.
