6-year-old iPod, 5-year-old display, 4-year-old Macbook, 2-year-old iPhone :)

As you can see, apart from peripherals, I haven't really kept up with Apple's latest hardware releases ;)

Love it, looks really great. What's the speaker system, may I ask?

Thanks!

They're Logitech Z4s. I find them fantastic, but I know that in the states the Z-2300s are only another $15 or so for some reason. I would go with those, unless you find these on sale. I got mine for only $50. If you can only find regular price stuff, the Z-2300s are worth the slight difference in price. Here in Canada the Z-2300s are another $50, for some messed up reason. Sucks.

I had the Z4s which cost me £50 ($75), but they broke within a month so I got a refund and chose the Z2300s instead which cost me £92 ($138) at the time (they're now £110/$165). So it sounds like you got yourself a good deal there. I agree though, if you can get the Z2300s get them, but the Z4s are still fantastic speakers.

I like the notepad/pencil holder-- where's it from?

Also, where's your desk lamp from? Thanks!

That's a Wacom tablet. It comes with a plastic holder for the pen.

The lamp is from IKEA. It's only $10 or so. It's called the TERTIAL. My first one eventually had the little twisty knobby thing get stuck, so I had to buy a new one. No big deal. Honestly, just buy two, and a bunch of bulbs, and you'll be fine for a few years. This thing can safely extend about two feet if you clamp it properly! :) Careful though, it doesn't have a little arm that you can grab to move it with, and the outer shade can get VERY hot (it's metal after all), but it's a small sacrifice for such a bright, robust lamp. Plus it's ten bucks.

A CFL will take care of the heat issue, plus you can save some energy.

Duly noted. Unfortunately I couldn't find the 11W E26s when I went to IKEA, so I just bought a crapload of regular 60W halogens. :p

I know your probably sick of the "what's that" questions but what keyboard are you using? Many thanks.

It's an HP Wireless Elite keyboard. Best keyboard I've ever used. Got it off eBay. Only way I know of besides buying an HP TouchSmart computer. Fortunately it's redonkulously cheap and I'm probably going to buy a new one soon just because this one's so old. This keyboard has zero lag, is about half an inch thick at its thickest point, has a footprint that's only bested by the old Apple wireless keyboards, and accepts AAA batteries that will last you about a year of heavy use.

Sweet thanks. I meant that wooden box to the right of the wacom though. Sorry, wasn't clear about it.

You can also get them from HP: HP Wireless Elite Keyboard, but probably not as cheap as eBay. :)

Thanks for the quick reply! I think I'm gonna pick myself one up.

Thanks for the info, gonna check out eBay and if not I'll buy one directly!

Edit: Shipping costs to the UK suck!

Those are also from IKEA. Comes in a set of 2 for like $6.

Also, for the keyboard, turns out HP has indeed started selling it separately. It's even listed on BestBuy.ca. Have a look at a local electronics retailer maybe. I'm gonna go pick one up soon as it's on sale for $60 with a mouse. Beats ordering it from eBay and having to wait.

This is my setup@the studio. At home I just have my Macbook. I just moved in so all I have is that card table I just bought and the monitor on it. But the monitor is pretty nifty though. I do have a lot of room to work with on that wall so after a few clients I shall be paying the ikea site a visit!
