Yep, its white. As white as my old iMac.

The web cam and the mics work perfectly. I didnt have to do anything. The MBP just uses them automatically when I use it in clamshell mode.

I know what you mean about "white as my old iMac", I just wish the original keyboard stayed as white, hopefully the Dell won't yellow with age. Glad to hear that the web cam and mics work. I'm not real keen on the white back, but it does seem like a really nice monitor otherwise.

The fish is real actually-- had him for about a year and a half now! Bettas are pretty hardy. Once he's gone I probably won't get another one though. Before, I had rationalized that I was saving it from the evil pet store people who stuck him in a plastic cup, but I think it's better off that I don't even support something like that by not buying entirely. I think I'll just stick a plant in the corner next time.
