This is my setup, nothing to fancy. I enjoy it and it gets the job done. 2.4 Ghz Macbook Pro Unibody Late 2008, 24" Cinema Display, Apple Wireless Keyboard, Logitech Performance MX mouse, iPhone 4 32Gb
It is fancy, not many people have all that.
That is one sweet looking desk. I have an older desk sitting in my basement which has very similar lines, however, it's been coated a few times in various sad colors of paint.
Very nice set up. Looks very clean, sleak, and simple.
Don't want to put you on the spot but that's why glossy screens aren't as good a matte ones.

Unfortunately because there is no standard for measuring contrast ratio, manufacturers can say pretty much whatever they want these days
Its a Galant Desk from Ikea. i have had it for a few years. i like it, its sturdy and give me plenty of room.

I've seen 6 bit TN LCDs that were advertised as having some kind of ridiculous contrast ratio like that.
How can an LCD have a higher contrast ratio than the number of colors it can display? That's about the point when my ************* meter kicks in.
Seriously though, there should be a law against 6 bit panels being 1500nits brightness with a 6000:1 contrast ratio. *shudder*
