I'm sitting here stewing because I can't put the new Momentus XT in my MBP due to my lack of a T6 Torx driver. To keep myself from defenestrating the poor thing, here's a past setup of mine!

-- Q6600 overclocked @ 3.6GHZ
-- Gigabyte GA-X48T-DQ6 motherboard
-- 4GB DDR3
-- 2x 150GB Raptors RAID 0; 250GB WD 7200RPM
-- VisionTek 3870x2 OC
-- Enermax Galaxy 1000W modular PSU
-- Antec Three Hundred case (used to be Rocketfish)

Just so you have an idea regarding what you are looking at:

GIGABYTE GA-P55A-UD3 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Intel Core i5-750 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor
Diablotek PHD Series PHD650 650W Power Supply
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 3.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
PNY GeForce GTX 260 VCGGTX260CXPB Video Card
ZEROtherm CORE92 Socket 1156/1366 HDT Cooler

Yes, I did just copy and paste that from order invoice from Newegg. The email is dated from Jan 19 2010. Wow, time sure flies! Seems like I got this yesterday.

Bias lighting is meant to go BEHIND your display. I imagine you're doing far worse things to your eyes by putting the diodes on the top and bottom of your monitor. You want to even out the intensity of light entering your eyes, not mess it all up again.

But hey, if you think it looks cool, go nuts.

Thanks, I had no idea. :p

Actually, I just did it for the lulz because they wouldn't fit in that case.

Wow! Gotta love that, even with the crazy light setup!
I am a sucker for blue setups but im trying to make mine all red! :p

so on a semi related post, here is my Game Pc/Hackintosh setup atm:

and the view of first snow out my window

Specs:
-i7 920 running at 4gz
-6GB Cosair 1600mhz ram or something :p
-currently 1tb sata cheap drive that i picked up (planning an SSD very soon!!)
-ati powercolor 4890 (it can play crysis so why bother to upgrade?)
-CM Storm Scout case that i need to swap out the lights to red
-Samsung T220 22" Full HD monitor
-Logitech Z4 speakers.. not visible because one is stuffed behind the monitor and the other is kaput! So new speakers for christmas haha!
*evil laugh as my neighbours squeel*

I love it, the Storm Scout has handles so with the above specs i feel like im on a mac pro.. especially when the SSD is in there! :D

Sorry for the atrocious picture quality.. it was taken with my crappy samsung phone
EDIT: the last time i posted on here was with a different account (long gone from my memory) and it was of my eMac about 2-3 years ago xD
