Nice setup. A couple of questions. Which speakers are those and how do you like the MX revolution and your samsung monitor?

Thanks. The speakers are Cyber Acoustics CA-3602. I bought them for $38 on Amazon. I have the Performance Mouse MX which I enjoy using because I have large hands and the extra buttons are a plus. My Samsung monitor is bright and just a overall nice monitor. It's LED backlit and super thin. It's not IPS, but still a great monitor.

Oh cool. I just ordered the Performance MX off of amazon. I read some reviews about horrible lag. What is your take on this mouse as far as performance( lag and length of time charge is held). I know its good for bigger hands due to its larger sculpted feel.

left is older spec MBP right as vaio F series.

LOVE my f series! how does the MBP compare? id love an MBP but only i5..and they get so pricey.

Lookin' good, but you have to give us the details.

Oops. :D

Boston Horizon Duo (Their customer service stinks, too bad, it's a nice radio)
T-Mobile G2
PowerBook G4 1.5GHz running Leopard
Vaio F11 running Win7
(Shame it runs Snow Leopard so fast, but the internal LCD won't run on it)

when I bought it, the only 2 things I wanted were a really high resolution screen and a really fast processor. This cost roughly what a loaded 13" MBP would've, and I could've squished an extra $200 to get a 15" C2D MacBook Pro... yea...

I'd love a 17" MBP though :D AH well, maybe when I graduate from college :)

That, and I need to do something about my aging PowerMac, so an iMac of some sort is in my future (or perhaps, a really good deal on a Mac Pro on craigslist?! 27" iMacs are awesome, but buying an iMac.. after all these years of powermacs gives me indigestion XD)

I don't experience any lag. On a full charge, my battery will last 1-2 months depending on use.

My brother also has the MX Performance, and he doesn't experience lag. I have the older MX Revolution (no lag), and while I've tried both mice, I actually prefer the older Revolution-- I absolutely love the second wheel, which gives more input options than the single button of the Performance. I do like that the Performance can be charged via a cord though-- I hate rechargeable batteries in my peripherals, but having a cord softens the blow. But unless Logitech comes out with anything super-great within the next couple years, my next mouse when the Revolution dies will be another (eBay'd) Revolution.

I agree. I have the Performance mouse, and another new one in the closet for emergencies. Best mouse Ive used since going to Apple. I like the magic mouse, but I have big hands, and it just doesnt work out for me at all.

New iMac (Got that in August, just forgot to update my account, which reminds me that I have to go update my signature :p)

So does Amazon. I just noticed they have it for $67.99.

I believe you're looking at the MX 1100. However, the Performance can be had from Amazon for $80, or through one of their partners for $70.

...or, the MX Revolution will set you back $154, but it's $154 well spent :D

New Ikea Desk

This is the desk I just got over the winter break. It’s from Ikea, but I forget the exact name.

From the left, I have my MBP 13” from last summer,
Some things to keep the cords neat,
Wacom bamboo tablet,
Little 19” TV,
Apple Remote,
PS3 controller,
a Coaster  (like I said, the desk is new...:D)

And on the floor Is my Playstation. :D
