Nice! But arent you putting a bit to much stress on the connectors on the mini?

It's been like that for well over a year. I've not noticed any issues. They aren't forced too much. And as they stay in the same position for months on end there isn't any extra stress on them.

With the new 27 there is more space on the foot for the mini + cables too.

Nice Tuscan S PC case Gordy

Good spot. I still am sad at how TVR ended up. I had an amazing meeting at TVR overlooking the production line a few years back.

How do you like those LaCie's? I really love the styling of those, especially with the desk bracket.

I was running two of the lacie quadra's in my cupboard up until a few weeks back. They are superb drives. With no noisy fans and great styling. The quadra's have tons of possible choice for cabling too.

They have been great, you're looking at a 80gb, 240gb, and 320gb. The 80gb I have had for many many years and for the most part I only use them for media then shut them down rather then having them on 24/7. The rack is quite slick and truthfully the only reason I have kept them for so long rather than just upgrading to 1 large drive.

Here are some pictures of my updated setup. I made sure to take pictures right after I cleaned up so you can see how it is supposed to look :p.

That Henge dock is really nice. However, I am at the point where I am selling both my 2007 24" iMac and 2008 Unibody MacBook and getting a new rig. I plan to wall mount. With the iPad 2, even though it isn't as ideal as the MacBook for video chatting at the Sunday morning breakfast table (for tilting, picture quality and field of view), I can't justify getting a 13" or 15" MBP and 27" ACD instead of the 27" iMac. Pricier, just doesn't make sense. All iTunes is on External FW800 drive and we stream a lot for kids to Apple TV, so iMac makes more sense. For mobility, the iPad 2 is great. But that dock/setup is very nice FTW.

Oh, and BTW, your Trackpad and mouse are on the wrong side of the KB :D

Thanks for the comments. I understand your reasoning for the iMac over the MBP and ACD combo. I used to have a 27" iMac in conjunction with a MBA but I just hated constantly having to sync all of my files across two systems (even with dropbox) and then dealing with updating both systems separately, not having all of my media on my MBA, etc... I like the MBP/ACD combo since it give me the 27" iMac feel with the mobility of the MBP when I pop it out of the dock and have to take it with me. It is admittedly pricy but at least the ACD can stick around even if I get a different MBP down the line.

Oh and btw....it's you who has it backwards my friend. :p

I applaud your neatness, and are those Astros I see?

Unfortunately they aren't. They are the Turtle Beach X31's. If you are a gamer I would encourage you to get a headset...crazy difference on games like CoD where you can hear footsteps. Makes me feel like a cheater on wager matches. :p

Do you use the ACD for your Xbox? If so, how do you like it?

Yes, I do use it for the 360 and I really like it. The small box beside the MBP dock is an Atlona DP300 (~$100). It outputs in 720p (so it doesn't utilize the full resolution of the ACD), but that wasn't a big deal for me. The atlona converter that outputs 1080 is a lot more expensive and I thought the difference in picture was minimal so I skimped on that. Of course just buying the ACD used up most of my cash anyways :D

Henge Dock, how are you liking it? I just received mine to use my iMac as an secondary screen for my MacBook Pro. Going to set it up at the weekend. Seems a little fiddly? Any advice?
