How did you mount that center speaker above your tv? I only ask because I just ordered speakers and would like to position my center speaker in the same fashion.

The speakers had those metal teeth looking things on the back, and all i did was get a couple of 2 1/2" drywall screws, if your speaker don't have them metal teeth, you can find them at home depot.

Finally get to post my own!

iMac 21.5 (mid 2011) 2.7 version
2.5TB Seagate HDD (still trying to get this working with my iMac!)
White iPad 32GB
iPhone 4 32 GB (Black converted to White)
BEATS SOLO HD by Dr Dre

Love the setup! Strangest thing I love the white iPad but i'm not a fan of the white iPhone.

This can't be serious. Did I time travel back to the early 90's?

lord have mercy, that's beautiful!

Thanks, I've seen some built from the ground up that are to most people unachievable but as far as "affordable" I'm proud of what i've accomplished by buying stuff little by little for over many years of researching deals online.

For example my 7.1 speakers I got for under $300 while some people spend over $2k on their speakers alone.

Hi guys,

I moved house again! Which means new chance for new setup :)

From this (March 2011)

to this (May 2011)
The reason why I arranged it this way is because I want to face the window when I do my paper study. The lamp is positioned on the left hand side of the writing table so that the shadows of my hand wont cover the paper (imagine how dark it would be to have the lamp on the right side)

Just bought the BookArc for my MBP. Still need to clean up and arrange the cables better.

The MBP and the Win7 desktop tower are attached to a KVM.

I ended up just taping the monitor cables to the underneath edge of the glass desk. The cables don't show up very much at all.

Wow!. I tried to Upload My Pictures Via Eye-Fi, Not Only Was I UnSuccessful but I also get a Warm Welcome From The Peanut Gallery:mad:
vincenz was not referring to you, but rather Surfing@Blacks who made the original comment about your mistake.

You've got a nice setup. Are you using that setup for productivity?

Just curious, but what kind of stand are you using for your monitor and notebook? Looks like something I could use.

It's Bretford's "Mobile Pro Desk Mount." You can buy it from Apple, but the info is here:

http://apple.bretford.com/products/mobileprocombo

It's mildly tricky to install, but worth it. The arms are very adjustable, so you can easily slide the monitor and laptop out of the way. Be prepared to put some pretty large holes in your desk.

Well, there are two ways.

One, if you want to use a photo that's on the net already you can use the Insert Image icon
insertimage.gif
in the toolbar of the Reply window to insert the URL of the image.

Two, if you want to attach a photo (or even a document) that's on your Mac you can use the Attachments icon
attach.gif
this will give you a popup window with which you can navigate to the photo on your Mac and upload it to your personal space here at MacRumors and it will be attached to the Reply you're composing.
