Trying to post mine but having difficulties, I click the upload button when trying to attach in a reply and it doesn't do anything, the file is under the file size limit for jpeg. Any ideas?

Also, when I try linking a picture in a post from my Flickr account it doesn't seem to work either.

Me being stupid or a common problem?

My Bad Vincenz! Thanks Ryan, No I just Use it as HTPC.

Don't worry about it. Thanks Ryan for clearing that up too.

Finished my little weekend project. Replaced my bowls with a proper mini aquarium.

2.5 gallon with filter and cheap piece of custom styrene for cover. Got my light mounted on the wall too.

Half-moon betta, African dwarf frog, and an albino Corydoras catfish, with a marimo moss ball, water sprite, Amazon sword, and java fern.

So. I'm moving out within one month. Although I already live in Amsterdam, I need my own place. I'll get myself a big desk placed in a corner. Lot's of space to study and to have my setup. And I have to be able to get the wires BEHIND my desk so they do not have to be seen all over the desk. Oh, and I will wall mount the iMac.

But for now, I have to deal with my 55 cm deep desk. My 27" just is to big to sit there in the middle in front of me.

The external monitor setup is from early-mid '10. It's been like that (without the iPad) from let's say '08. Although the Macbook Pro was an 15" back then. This pictures shows an 17" MacBook Pro.

Then I upgraded to the iMac 27" (signature)

You don't see:

- Harman Kardon Sounsticks II
- External Drives (2x 1TB)
- iPhone 4 (used as camera) and the other is downstairs
- iPad Keyboard Dock
- iMac G4

Just bought the BookArc for my MBP. Still need to clean up and arrange the cables better.

The MBP and the Win7 desktop tower are attached to a KVM.

I ended up just taping the monitor cables to the underneath edge of the glass desk. The cables don't show up very much at all.

I was not quite happy. Figured I could do move with the space. Don't worry, the iMac is safe. tested it. So. This is the setup I prefer for now :p

EDIT: I removed the damn candles! Haha..

See if this reply I posted earlier about the same topic helps any.

Those are the Hercules XPS 101. They sound great! I'd say comparable to the Harman Kardon Soundsticks II/III

Those speakers were announced back in February at CES, but they haven't arrived in the USA yet. I emailed Hercules, and they said that they are in the process of having them distributed in the USA but did not have a date.

No unfortunately no help, can't work this out. I take it everyone who is a member has upload space on the site? Or is that something you earn/buy over time?

Thats the link from my Flickr account.

Weird, you link shows up as a question mark (like when you embed an image that does not exist), but the code is 100% fine. Maybe your account's haunted O.O

Thanks for the info. Appreciate that. :)

I really like the classy look of those speakers. It is definitely good to hear that those speakers sound as good as the Harman Kardon Soundsticks II/III, which I'm a huge fan of. :D

You don't buy the upload space, I don't know if it's based on your user level or what maybe it's in the FAQ. Edit: Here's the FAQ section that's relevant.

The problem with the Flickr linking is that the link that you're using is just to your Photostream not the exact image. I used Firefox's View Page Info to find out that the image you want is:

Code:
http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5268/5772207049_f7b88492e4_z.jpg

I don't use Flickr so I don't know if there's an easier way to get that link or not.

When entering a "Reply" to the thread, you should see a little yellow box above the text box with a picture of a mountain in it. Hover over it, and it should say "Insert Image." Click that. Paste the URL of your Flickr image (can be obtained by right-clicking the Flickr image and clicking "Copy image location." EDIT: You may need to first right-click the Flickr image, select "Medium," right click the image again, and then click "Copy image location"). Hit "Ok."

I won't post your image as an example unless you want me to, but the result should be a nicely embedded, nicely formatted image. Make sure to NOT get rid of the IMG tags it will put around your URL!
