iMac 2010 27" i7
2010 macbook air 13
Samsung Captivate
Razer Naga Mouse
Beats by Dre (they were a gift don't judge me)
Lamp and Desk from ikea
Herman Miller Embody Chair :)cool:)

I knew i was going to use the imac mostly in bootcamp, but loved the screen, all-in-one form factor and got it recently as a refurb so it was a pretty good deal. Mouse with 17 buttons allows for a control scheme pretty similar to the magic trackpad: I can record different macros or gestures to each button.

Embody chair is a dream to sit on. Love it even though it cost as much as the computer =/. Got it covered so it's all good. I really want an ipad but I just can't justify it was all that I've gotten recently. Keep telling myself I'll just wait for ipad 3.

Hey, nice clean setup. I am interested in those cable covers you have. Very clean looking. We have a couple of Samsung LCD TVs in the house and they always came with a nice little cable cover that like the one you have on the back of your Mac pro, ACD, and monitor speakers. I have cable ties but I prefer the look tube cable covers, though I'm not sure where to look. Mostly all I find are cable covers that are desiged for the floor and not the tube ones. Where did you get yours?

the cable covers on the wall for the TV are from amazon and the sleeving for the wires is made by a company called TechFlex and it is awesome.. they make a few different solutions for sleeving and the one y used wraps around the cable.. it does the job and it looks pretty good..

Here is one for you:

I work like that now at my work where it a simple desk and office chair & desk lamp on the desk with walls that are inbetween the next person and my space and your laptop is place where no one can see the screen ..

so yes it the room is nickname the boiler room because of the set up at work ..

Its a stripped down iPad dock It looks decently and it works with all iOS devices.. its not as clean as a unmodified dock but it fits every device..
Sweet, that's what my guess was but I wasn't 100% sure. I actually really like the look of it but maybe that's just me.

Sure.. the dresser is from a furniture store in San Diego called Jerome's and the wall art was painted by my little sister..

Thanks! I've seen Jeromes - I will have to check them out.

Give your sister some props - those paintings are great. :D

Finally got around to taking an updated setup picture. The before and after:

2011 21.5" iMac | 2.5 GHz Intel Quad-Core i5 | 12GB RAM | 500GB Hard Drive
iPad 2 16GB (Wi-Fi)
iPhone 4 16GB (AT&T)

I plan on getting a MacBook Pro again when they do a redesign. I think the iPad 2 will take care of my portable needs for now.

Question: Instead of going 12gb of ram why not go 6 or 8gb and put the extra cash towards a 27"? Will you really be taking advantage of 12gb?

My guess is he bought a 4x2 gb set and just added it. The iMac's come with 4gb standard an have two free slots.

I only bought 8GB for around $100 and added to the 4GB that already came with it, not enough to get me a 27" and I don't want a 27" in the first place, way too big for me. And I edit tons of pictures, sometimes uploading thousands at a time in Aperture 3 so yes, I need all the RAM I can get.

Thanks a ton! TechFlex looks good, I'll check em out now :)
