kppolich, nice setup. :)

For a while, I got fooled by your black keyboard cover/protector on your non-unibody MBP. Silly me. :(

Sweet, that's what my guess was but I wasn't 100% sure. I actually really like the look of it but maybe that's just me.
Yea I also like the looks of it.. as i said it's not as pretty as the unmodified one but it beats having to buy a new dock everytime i change my device..:p

Its a stripped down iPad dock It looks decently and it works with all iOS devices.. its not as clean as a unmodified dock but it fits every device..

You think your dock is stripped down? You ain't seen nuthin! :D

It's going to be installed in the car this weekend, and there's no space for anything to be in the way of the ribbon cable. Hence its state.

i'm looking for some decent speakers for around 100 what would you guys recommend? thanks

I can't say that they are the best looking speakers but they do match my iMac since they're silver and black, but after going thru about 4 or 5 sets of 2.1 speakers I'm still blown away when I listen to music and i turn them up. It has excellent bass.

Anyhow here's a link. I found them at wal-mart for under $50 and i also like that the Bass is has a knob to turn it down when you don't want the bass.

A lot of people like them SoundSticks ones I think they look nice but haven't compared the sound.

thats funny.. i had those speakers in China.. they are ok and they look pretty decently.. but they dont sound that good.. you should get some swan m10 if you can wait until they are back in stock of go with some swans d1010 they are 130.. they sound real good.. M audio makes comparable stuff too but around 100 you can find good stuff..

Aramosc, is this an older Bang and Olufsen phone? It looks similar to their current Beocom 1401 phone. Either way, you've got a beautiful phone.

Or, you can check out the marketplace. I have a black pair of m10's that I am trying to get rid of.

Thanks!, it is a Beocom 2500 its a few years old however it is newer than the 1401 even though they stopped making it.. I just bought a PhoneLynx and I use it with my iPhone since my reception is so bad at home I just leave my phone where I have the most bars and it connects via bluetooth to the PhoneLynx and then to the beocom.

Thought I would post mine, the main rig running EvE Online is a Quad Core Q6600 with 4GB XMS2, and a 5770 GPU, coupled to two Samsung B-2430's.

My Unibody MBP is the 2.4GHZ 4GB DDR3 model, coupled too a Samsung T-200, and in front of the screens is my iPad1 16GB Wifi.

Picture taken with iPhone4, edited on iPad :):apple:

My current 'setup'... still a major work in progress. Need to paint those nasty cabinets, the nasty unfinished wood walls and replace that nasty desk. Also, don't even go there about the dartboard hanging on the wall... remnants from the late 90s.

Where the hell can I get either a dark wood or a red "L" shaped desk?

Looks like your ACD has tentacles.

It sometimes feels that way as well...

how is that holder for the laptop working out?

It's a Henge Dock, and I would definitely recommend it. I dock and undock often, taking my computer to the couch, and to work, etc... It's a real time saver, not to mention my reclaimed desk space!
