I was not quite happy. Figured I could do move with the space. Don't worry, the iMac is safe. tested it. So. This is the setup I prefer for now :p

EDIT: I removed the damn candles! Haha..

Don't block the window ?, I think the Mac would look much better on the side (design major)

I second that as well. The thing is, I don't have enough space. Although it fits I feel like it's unnatural.. Another thing is that the wires ( to which I am allergic ) can be seen quite clearly.

My new disk will be in a corner with different parts of the desk associated with different tasks. And the iMac will be wall mounted. There will be a lot of construction work in the next few months or so. I will move in around August.

It's gonna be a big improvement. Can't wait to post before/after pics.

I might have it disabled, just got my new macbook pro so still sorting stuff out.

Yes it was Home Alone, good spot, but it was just on TV at the time wasn't actually watching it. Strictly a christmas film.

Work in progress...

Remodeled the desk but still need to hide the cables and want to get rid of the power supply plugs... but at least loads of Firewire 800 drives are now hidden. :)

That's a really nice bed. Please post specs on the sheets and other linen.

Looking good!

Thanks, it all began by moving some pieces of furniture and ended in replacing a NEC used in portrait mode by a cinema display and by mounting the iMac onto the wall. Which resulted in a major spring loaded clam mishap... So really thank you for the encouraging words! ;-)

That's what I like to know as well! I dumped the Magic Mouse straight away. I'm using my mighty mouse from +/- 2007 . Does the Trackpad gives me any benefit? (given the fact I like the trackpad of the MacBook line up)

I use both equally. Depends on the task. Some things I am able to do faster with the mouse. Other things are easier with the trackpad, such as web surfing...

I do love the MagicWand....the TrackPad doesn't move around like it did without being attached to the keyboard.

Wallpaper?

What is the aurora type wallpaper on your macbook?

hi guys,

i moved house again! Which means new chance for new setup :)

from this (march 2011)

to this (may 2011)
the reason why i arranged it this way is because i want to face the window when i do my paper study. The lamp is positioned on the left hand side of the writing table so that the shadows of my hand wont cover the paper (imagine how dark it would be to have the lamp on the right side)

i rarely game these days, though i just bought portal 2 haha

iMac 2010 27" i7
2010 macbook air 13
Samsung Captivate
Razer Naga Mouse
Beats by Dre (they were a gift don't judge me)
Lamp and Desk from ikea
Herman Miller Embody Chair :)cool:)

I knew i was going to use the imac mostly in bootcamp, but loved the screen, all-in-one form factor and got it recently as a refurb so it was a pretty good deal. Mouse with 17 buttons allows for a control scheme pretty similar to the magic trackpad: I can record different macros or gestures to each button.

Embody chair is a dream to sit on. Love it even though it cost as much as the computer =/. Got it covered so it's all good. I really want an ipad but I just can't justify it was all that I've gotten recently. Keep telling myself I'll just wait for ipad 3.
