So where to start. First i started with the purchase of an iPhone and then got my first MacBook Pro in 2010. Since then i have purchased an iPad as well as an iPhone 4 and then 3 weeks ago a new 21.5" iMac.

I work as an IT specialist so spend all day fixing computers unfortunately not Mac's.

Anyway here go's not the best setup but am happy with it for the minute :)

MacBook Pro 13" 2010, iMac 21.5" 2011, iPad 32GB + 3G

26" Sony Bravia TV, Sony PS3 500GB upgraded HD, Xbox 360 250GB, Sky +

Finally just for the beats ;)

That swivel stand is way useful, is it actually part of the desk, or can you get them separately?

Its the Atdec VFAT and VFATNK. Its a relatively inexpensive monitor mount w/ laptop stand and decent quality (although I am sure you can find nicer solutions out there).

Yum! That's the 24" LED CD, isn't it? That's the same monitor I have, though I've got an early 2009 mini.

Yep! thats the 24" one. Great monitor, however it has the same blinking issues everyone is having when plugged into the thunderbolt port. It works fine on my MBP, hopefully Apple releases a fix soon.

tell me how it runs.

My dad is in the market for a new desktop for home use, but doesn't want to shell out the money for an iMac.

Same here. We already have a monitor we just need the actual computer. Trying to convince my mom to get a mac mini since it's cheaper, smaller, and runs better than a windows computer.

I bought this desk from WalMart a while back... Love the design only problem that it has is that it's too small for my monitor and macbook. Anyone have any suggestions on different computer desks.. not any overly expensive ones either. Thanks!

Thanks For The Info.

I will have to get one, ideally to mount my Laptop on, cause at the moment it's in it's case, and since it runs WinDoze, Everytime I boot it up there are always a gazilion updates.

If it was in my face I'd do it more regularly... :D

Updated set up.

Have added a PS2 and a HD Game Box to convert RCA to VGA for the EXT monitor.

Plus moved the entire set up so as it sits in the window bay, I got bored looking at a wall...

I like the storage you choose as legs for that desk. Do you have a middle leg installed for support?

I can see why your cables and such are a mess when I look at the lack of punctuation and capitalization in your post...

i can see your point but i actually have not taken the time to do cable management. plus to much texting on my phone to use punctuation as it takes up space and it is hard to use on my cell

Yeah there is a middle leg (Metal tube shape) fixed in the middle at the back of the desk.

The desk is from IKEA you can buy all the bits separate so your storage can be adjusted to how you see fit.... plus in various colors.

Wow, that's such a nice thing of you to say. And I never knew your ability to type equated your ability to clean. You learn something new every day!

I think we all need to remember the age old adage if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. Oh here is another do into others as you would do into them. Newer Ver. be nice to others and they will be nice to you
