Apologies for the AWFUL photo - iPhone 4 in bad light - but I've just taken delivery of a Thunderbolt display for use with my MBA.

Holy smokes, this thing is a] gigantic and b] gorgeous!

It's from fiftyfootshadows - this link will take you to their desktop picture category, so just scroll through until you find it (or another you like).

Having spent about 5 hours with this new display, I'm having it sent back as it has a yellowish tinge on the bottom third. Very annoying, as aside from that, it is gorgeous. Here's hoping the replacement will be fault-free.

This is my current set up. New 13" MBP with crappy 17" LCD monitor and custom built Lego laptop stand.

Loving the Lego stand! My friend and I once built a computer case out of Legos. That went well.

I would hold onto it for another week or so. It may just be the glue drying, as what happens with iPhones.

Ah, I remember that... I guess I'll see what happens between now and Thursday, I can always cancel the return I guess. But considering how much you pay for these displays, it would be nice to get one that's as close to perfect as possible!

you should change the 13" MBP with a brand spanking new ultimate MBA, both the 11" and the 13" are beast and they really complement the ATD (or ACD)

I'm in love with the design and power of the MacBook Air. But it's just not compatible with my 27" Cinema Display as the Thunderbolt and USB port are on either side of the MacBook Air.

The cables of my Cinema Display just won't allow this setup. Unfortunately...

Can i steal your lamp from you? Love it. And which do you think is better, the trackpad or MM?

I was in love with the Pixar lamp, so I bought one a bit similar.

I prefer the Magic Trackpad for standard use such as browsing the web, checking my emails,...
But for other stuff like basic photo editing I still like the Magic Mouse a little bit more. Select and drag is much easier with a real mouse!

I am pretty sure it is compatible with the MBA because if it worked with last years MBA it should work with the new MBA (plus their is a USB port right next to the TB port)
