Yep27" was overkill for such a small desk
you know only the base stand has to be able to fit on a surface right?
This was my gear circa 1988-ish in a posed shot. I had bought a Laserwriter Plus a year earlier and had a little home desktop publishing business going.

Sorry for the quality I don't have my DSLR memory card and all I had handy was iP4 Camera.
P.S The metal thingy sticking out of the MBP is the Universal Pop Filter by Blue.

What kind of stand is your monitor resting on? The cylindrical pieces as the end look like they are USB ports?
Cool - what size studio did you have before?
I just got the 23" for $50 of the Apple cinema display HD. Needs a replacement inverter board but that is an easy fix. Can't wait to get it!

i had 17" got this for a steal. still to this day of the best displays apple ever made, my #1 favorite personally.
It's a simple custom made one. You can see it a bit more of it in this one:
It's a single piece with my bed, you can see on the second photo, by the reflection at the mirror.
It looks like an IKEA custom made one. If so, would you kindly share the part used for it?
