Polk Audio System
- Fronts: Monitor 70's

This was my gear circa 1988-ish in a posed shot. I had bought a Laserwriter Plus a year earlier and had a little home desktop publishing business going.

Edit to add - I sold the big banner on eBay last year. The winning bidder's shipping address was 1 Infinite Loop, Cupertino. :)

My Humble Command Center

Sorry for the quality I don't have my DSLR memory card and all I had handy was iP4 Camera.

P.S The metal thingy sticking out of the MBP is the Universal Pop Filter by Blue.

Nice set up

What kind of stand is your monitor resting on? The cylindrical pieces as the end look like they are USB ports?

Cool - what size studio did you have before?

I just got the 23" for $80 of the Apple cinema display HD. Needs a replacement inverter board but that is an easy fix. Can't wait to get it!

i had 17" got this for a steal. still to this day of the best displays apple ever made, my #1 favorite personally.

interested in seeing more of the desk....what is it?

It's a simple custom made one. You can see it a bit more of it in this one:

It's a single piece with my bed, you can see on the second photo, by the reflection at the mirror.

doesnt look like ikea to me. the table top looks awful thick to be ikea. looks more like a piece of cut counter top from like lowes or something and maybe an ikea endtable of some sorts.

I'm from Brazil, so no IKEA for us here.
It was made by a carpenter who also did most of the furniture here in my house.

Ah, I see. My apologies for coming to such a conclusion then, its just that desk sure is pretty neat! :)

No apologies needed my friend. Feel free to ask for any additional info.
I had the idea for that desk from various internet photos, some here on this topic. So I'm always glad to help.
