Its not the point. It's like hey, I'm 16, I have an 27" iMac with Adobe Master Collection which costs like all iMac. Pretends that he bought it, but not, his mom gave money to him. lol
I like the setup you have going on. I was wondering what that thing under your computer was that said your name on it?
Its a MyBook Studio 2TB I think the current model doesn't have the screen or maybe it does, theres like 2 that seem current, but just google mybook studio and buy whichever one has the screen.

I took an old steel case desk and put some black "faux leather" vinyl on the top piece. I figured since I don't write on it (without a notepad, etc) ever it was worth it and I really REALLY like the minimalist feel.
The entire top came off, so I just duck taped the vinyl on it and stretched it nicely.
Cost me about $35 total, $25 for the desk off craigs list, $12 for the vinyl I think
Plus lots of time swearing and cursing taking the stupid thing apart to get it upstairs twice... hah.

EDIT I recently took out the 2 128 RAM chips (so now there are only the 512 and 256) it runs faster, huh

Yeah those are the silver Studios. They match the Macbook Pro perfectly plus they don't look as cheap because they have a brushed look to them. Oh and no one at my school has them in the colour so I love em haha. But definitely wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't reduced for boxing day

Yes, i usually use it to make models and edit video, so lying down isnt really a problem. I had it on my desk (see attached) but the Studio display (17" long) fell off, while i was using it luckily!!!!
