Sweet setup, definitely one of my favourites, can you take a few more pics with other parts of the room, and an overview of the desk?
Thanks!
Glad you like it!
I'll try to do that later, or tomorrow. Busy writing a research paper on thermodynamics (and yes, thats why I'm spending time on MR ;)), just pm me later this week if i forget it, which i tend to do with things such as this.

Work in Progress

Just like my title says, nothing more nothing less. I promised to post some photos a while ago, but have been busy, so I snapped these real fast.

I will say, I am still working on a few things and should be done by the end of summer, but I will keep you guys posted. Hope these will do until next update or everything is finalized!

Btw, I do have more iPods and an iPad, but I didn't bother including them.

Is that the Ikea Expedit desk? I've been considering one myself. How long is the actual "desk"?

Yep, that worked for a while...No more space behind the TV now....Cable management is a must...I will be installing it this weekend I hope :) They sent too much...enough for several setups, but charged me only for what I ordered...:D

I know theres a thread already about setups, but i didn't want to take up a whole page. So heres mine.

Here it is when I'm gaming Elgato eye tv capture software on the CTX monitor

(so for the bad photos i used my iPhone 4 to take them)

How's the quality of the dynex tv hooked up on your Mac? I'm thinking of getting a 32" wall mount for my office.

That was actually the one and only thing that popped into my head while looking at those pictures..

It's a 214ce

I LOVE those. I have been thinking about getting one, but I recently broke my left index finger and have lost all sensation (except pain, apparently) and it's so hard for me to play now.

I do have one of the lower end Taylors.. I think it's the 110. It's a pretty inexpensive guitar (for a Taylor). I bought it for around $600 and it sounds amaaaaaazing.

I played one of the 214's and it sounded like heavenly angels singing my name while i'm laying on a big fluffy bed and.. well I won't continue this thought, because it's about to get inappropriate..

Yes, it is nice. If it were just a few inches longer, maybe 4-6, it would be better.

Yes, you can know.. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005FYTUN4/ref=oh_o00_s00_i01_details

Btw, guys, you should probably PM me in the future so we don't clutter this thread.. I just wrote this because no one ever seems to read PM's

Indeed, 2nd most perfect guitar I ever played.

The best one I've ever come laid hands on is the takamine 40th anniversary guitar, only 40 ever made. Best. guitar. ever.

This is the closest you get to a humble piece of perfection. Makes me a little wet every time.

$600?!? inexpensive?!?! didn't you just critique my spending habits? you're guitar = my electronics (minus the mac stuff):D

I didn't critique your spending habits. I merely asked you how you convinced yourself that it's okay to buy as much as you do.

$600 for a great sounding Taylor guitar that I will get insane amounts of use out of is not a lot of money. And believe me, it took a lot for me to convince myself that the purchase was okay.

Thank You, Sir!

Actually it runs really well! As do everything else, except for games (well they run fine, but gaming really gets the fan kickin'), but since I'm not a gamer, this isn't really a concern of mine!
Shocked by the performance of this little champ!

But it's not a PRO!! therefore you're not a professional and you can't get work done with work apps like cinema 4d on such a puny non-pro machine ;)

*poking fun at the people that get all worked up about it*
