Why not put the TB displays next to each other and move the book arc where the TB Display on the right is?

Certainly tried that, but the shelf that the TB display on the left sits on doesn't seem strong enough, and bounces so not worth the risk :(

Whoop! I meant move the book arc where the TB Display on the left is

Ah, I also tried that but it was rather close to me and made the shelving a little inconvenient to reach.

Current solution is proving better than I thought, and rather unique too! :)

Well, as it is past and present, I thought I'd upload the changes from 2007-2012 with my modest setups here in England. Enjoy your Macs everyone. I only wish I could use one for work!

Great setup

I'm liking that desk a lot, and was wondering whether the chest of 3 drawers is actually part of the desk or is it separate?

Would appreciate it if you could let me know where you bought that desk and/or chest of drawers, been looking for something like this for some time.

Much appreciated. Thanks! ;)

I am going to bet it is the bassinet in the picture above. Just my experience, kids aren't cheap.

Made me laugh as it is about right!

Yeah, lots of changes. To be fair, the picture with the most stuff included my wife's stuff (one of the reasons I married her!).

I downsized because as you can probably see, I'm at a stage where I am moving a lot. 27" iMac or 30" ACD don't exactly fit in your pocket and I was also worried about the future lifespan of the 30".

About the only thing that has remained the same is the Bose Companion 5 system! It is okay... I'm not sure I would buy it again though. The connector to the puck needs moving occasionally to ensure both channels work (rather annoying). Other than that it has been fine although I'm well aware there are better systems for the money.

I've enjoyed most Apple products in this 2007-2012 period. The MBA is so wonderful though. I can't help but touch it sometimes as its monocoque construction is so...seamless.

Those with Galant desks and the A-frame legs - how hard is it to set the right height for the desk? I've just ordered a couple of desks with A-frame leg and I'm worried I'm going to be forever adjusting the extending legs and never getting it quite right.

Ah, that has been asked a few times. They are separate (the drawers and the desk). They are from IKEA (now discontinued I believe). Mikael rings a bell, but I could be wrong. Glass top on original picture was an option but I removed it as it moved too easily and optical mice didn't like it.
