What a thread, I wish I'd known about this before! I'll post a few treats :D

Then a Black MacBook!

Industrial placement year (2008), Octo-core Mac Pro, dual 20" LCDs, PS3, Wii. A terrible photo but a good year!

Now with new keyboard and mouse, yay :). Though not so sure if I am digging the dual monitor setup, and wondering if I should just go for running my MacBook Pro in clamshell mode. (EDIT: I have tried Clamshell mode, and ended up going back to the old way, I prefer the old way I guess ;))

TV Setup...yes those are old G3s holding up the TV, there is also a Blu-Ray player and an Xbox 360 below.

Back of the Mac setup. Love the way it looks from the back.

NOT SHOWN: iPhone 4, as it was used to take these pictures :)

I've been using dual screens for months but I find it's not as useful as I imagined it would be... put my macbook in clamshell lately instead and moved the big Asus monitor to the middle. Looking to get a BookArc too soon!

I love these threads!

I will make sure to post my new setup as soon as possible as I've just got myself a new iMac 21.5" to replace my old 2004 iMac G5 and repainted my room as well. Unfortunately my girlfriend has my SD-card for my camera at the moment. :)

The 42" MultiTouch display was property of the University, and a great investment. Did some really great work with it - stuff I am still proud of. In fact, we imported it from non other than the US of A!

Yes there was a new computer each year but I never hold on to my previous machines, plus Apple's educational discount (which was higher at the time) meant the resale values were great. I rarely lost much money. In fact, I sold the Mac Pro for well in excess of what I paid for it after the discount and some hard drive and memory upgrades.

As you can see, I never spent much on making it look nice! The equipment was what was important for me.

I'll post again when my new setup materialises.

I have to know, what speakers are those? And how do you like that Xarmor keyboard? I've got a Model M I'm looking to upgrade to something with a Super key for my Windows box.

Logitech Z5450s....no longer in production...but I love the sweet retro looking receiver.

The x-armor is great. Brown switches so its a good compromise for me for the tactile feedback and not too clicky. Only problem is that the LEDS burn out. That sucks.
