I love the damn things. Computers were just somehow more interesting in the late 70's and early 80's.

Yeah, because we have 30, almost 40, years of nostalgia to look back upon. I had an Atari 400 as well, an Apple //c, Atari 800, 1024ST, you name it. Nothing but the fondest of memories for those things. If only I had been smart enough to keep them, you never know that 30 years will bring nostalgia to you.

I still have my CoCo2 and my Tandy 1000TL that I used when I was a teenager. Computers were a lot more fun back in the day before they became a commodity that everyone has.

After moving the computer out of the living room, because my two grandchildren. Sticky fingers, and glasses of cola, were an accident waiting to happen.

I set up in one of the spare bedrooms, I'm only now starting to get it set up again as I want.

I saved this pic on my iPad because of the desk and I really would like to know where you got this desk. I have been looking but couldn't find it anywhere. Nice setup. I agree, the less is always neat and cool!:D

New Desk and Setup

Hardware wise, nothing has changed. I did purchase an L-shaped desk from Office Max.

Previous Setup:

Bought the desk and set it up, moved items around in my room. This change was to provide more space in my tiny room.

Unfortunately while I liked the location, I was unable to level the desk (with shims) as there is about an inch drop from the center of the window to the corner.

So I moved the desk to the opposite side of the room where the floor is more level.

Macbook Pro 15" (2006) with 2GB ram and a 60GB SSD. (Very peppy now)
