maybe keep it to yourself next time. no one cares. a reaction isn't citing every aspect of the picture negatively.... but bashing is.

"Oh look, an uninteresting post that might be interpreted as negative. I better post an uninteresting post that might be interpreted as negative and tell him he shouldn't post stuff like that."

----------

I see the point of the mice. I use a trackpad at home but there are times when working in excel or something that I grab a mouse. The magic mouse is not good for gaming if I recall, ergo the seemingly useful gaming mouse. The ATV doesn't seem to add clutter and who cares about the phone?

You don't have to sit there so why bother being so negative about it?

I wasn't being negative about it, I just didn't agree with his view on the setup being simplistic and flowing together and pointed out why. Seriously, if you can't take a post like that, you really shouldn't post stuff online. Let alone on a public forum. I don't think I've crossed the forum's rules in any way...

In the future, why don't you just report my posts that you feel are out of line instead? That would get rid of them if the moderators agree with you, and the threads would be less infected.

Changed my setup a little bit. Removed the LaserJet from the desk like everyone said too. Good thing I did, because now my cat like that spot to look out the window. :D Also moved my MBP into the desk drawer which saved some desk space.

Very nice, I like the way the monitor is to the side, instead of taking up the whole desk.

Love the ACD! But, I'm a little disappointed because the ACD is too heavy for the glass desk on the right. The glass was actually bending when I put the ACD on it! Basically I lost the functionality of the drafting table because it's strong enough to support the ACD. I'll either have to live with it this way, get a new desk, or mount the ACD on the wall above the right side. Haven't decided what I'm going to do yet.

I also got around to painting the walls and I'm waiting on my Stending Calendar still.

Just wall mount it. This setup looks amazing and I wouldn't get a new desk if you like this one and it suits your needs.

Thanks for the link! how do you like it?

I like it a lot. It is kind of pricey but overall a great stand for an iPad. It's made out of a solid block of aluminum, matching the iMac :D

Thanks. I'll probably end up walling mounting it but I like the way it looks with its stand better. I guess function trumps form though.

I got the lamp from IKEA. I think it was called Antifoni.

MacJones, you could also consider just putting something on top of the table so that it sits on the legs (like a metal shelf piece) and keeps the weight off the glass :) That's where I'd go! It's also a lot easier than mounting the monitor on the wall (plus I also think it looks better)

I thought you already had a 13" Air?

Beautiful photo (as usual) by the way. Was it taken with a 5D Mk II or 1DX?

Sorry for being a picture whore but my Stendig Calendar was at my doorstep when I came home from work so I thought I'd post a picture of my completed (for now) set up.

By the way, I LOVE the smell of a new Apple product. My room has that fresh Mac smell to it. :D
