My Current setup - couldn't be happier with it :)

hey nice setup, may I ask you what model of monitor is that? it looks huge, and I'm currently looking for a 27-30 inch display but I don't wanna spend a fortune on a cinema display, plus I really like the look of this one, thanks :)
Thanks. :) It's a 2560x1600 30" Dell 3008WFP. I really like it too, and it's too bad the current top end Apple monitor is smaller (27" and 1440 vertical pixels only).

I've always wanted a 30" monitor because it offers the largest resolution/real estate, but they were so expensive. I got lucky and found a very nice deal on a used 3008WFP, and it's been great. It has a DisplayPort input, so it connects nicely to Macs (via a Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable).

I got it from here.

I wish there was a little more workspace but I have a small room and it fits well in here.

Where did you get the LED's for your desk? I'd like to find some for my room as well.

----------

I could not live with shoes in my room which are in my way.

The glass sticks out farther than it appears and I have plenty of room for my feet. My room is very small and this is the only place they can sit. It does not bother me one bit and I have big feet.

My Set Up

I don't really have a set-up as such because I pretty much use my macbook from the couch etc. Here is my collection nevertheless....

Old style Macbook (white) with 2GHz, 4GB Memory.
iPhone 4S 32GB
iPod Classic (original) 80GB
iPod Touch 32GB
iPod Shuffle 4GB

And my iMac which I use as my media server to stream my movies to my APTV2 (one in bedroom and one in the lounge) The screen saver is scrolling pics from iPhoto - so looks like a fancy digital photo frame on my bookshelf. :)

Behind it is 2x 2TB WD hard drives.

Sneaker pimp ... haters always going to hate are they not?

Nice selection of classic Nike Air's ... especially the Jordans of his prime! some other brands I don't recognize.

Yeah, I suppose so... Every post I make on here gets down voted into MacRumors hell from all the people here. I don't know why they are hating or what they are hating on. Everyone I associate with really enjoys my office and I've not had one negative comment on it accept this website. I'm an avid Apple fan as well. I guess you just can't please everyone.

This is just a part of it. I wear all these consistently so I keep them unboxed and on display. Mostly Retro Jordans, some Saucony shoes I run 5ks in, and some LeBrons/Kobe's. Couple pair of Nike. Total I have 58 pairs of shoes. The rest are in my bedroom.

Where did you find that desk? Looks really nice.
Hey there, bought it from a shop down here at Australia called 'Officeworks' The desk is called the 'Aztec Glass desk'

I don't want to rain on your parade, but I have that table. You might want to superglue every screw on there, say a whole tube per screw. It's gonna start falling apart soon and get pretty shakey. I wish I hadn't bought one.

Hehe, it came with 12 months warranty .. so hope I don't have to use it /touchwood

A 27" iMac isn't looking too overkill now ;)
Nice setup by the way!

I know! spewin.. might upgrade to 27" in future if they bring out a 2012 model.

Knocksteady <3

Knocksteady for life! :D

Looks like you have a huge television to the left. Is that right? Is this in your bedroom?

I have a similar setup with my iMac and MacBook and a 40" Samsung but my room isn't quite as big.

Yup to the right is just an old LG 42" plasma.. and I claimed the master bedroom. :p
