Don't have a clue why my previous post got down-voted, there was nothing there to disagree with... Not having a go at you by the way Macman45 :) I actually have a 2.5"-3.5" bay converter that came with my m4, I might use that!

Ignore the down voting....It's becoming more and more random and there are several threads running about the voting system in the site feedback section. I get down voted all the time and don't even look any more..:) Yes, a caddy would be better...Sooner or later that drive is going to fall over!

Yeah, I posted in one of the threads there yesterday, that's what got me thinking about it. And a caddy it'll probably be :D

I don't get it... What did he do there?

Er, I'm not quite sure either.

The bracket is needed for the HD to slide into the slot in the battery compartment. And, if the new HD was to fail, I would have to take the mac apart just to remove it.

Not if you attach a piece of duct tape to the drive so you can pull it out like the caddy originally allowed you do to. Just cut a 3" piece of duct tape, attach the first inch to the top of the drive, and fold the third inch over the second inch so it doesn't stick to anything. Boom, a new tab :D

Just avoid moving the machine too violently so the drive doesn't get shaken loose.

Here's my set-up:

Apple 27" Thunderbolt Display
iPhone 3GS (16GB)
iPad 1 (16GB)

Hope you like my set-up!
