Cheers :apple:

My setup so far...

My first Mac, and I can only say that I'm really pleased with it... (specs in sig)
Also, my iPad 2 which is sometimes used as a secondary display when needed (although I'd love a Thunderbolt display :p).
The desk is new too, I love it :D

Cheers :apple:

My new Macbook Air 13", 128GB.
Got my Dell U2311 yesterday; really happy with it so far. Vivid colors.
The speakers are Altec Lansing VS4621 Octane 7 2.1's. They produce decent sound, but the bass is a little overexpressed. Had to turn it down quite a bit in iTunes; wasn't enough to turn it down all the way on the speakers themselves (!).

Now saving for my magic trackpad and wireless keyboard.

Wow :) I just have to ask you, since it seems like pretty much everything is spanking new, did you buy it for your personal use or do you use it for work?

What kind of wood is that desk made from? I have a desk in oak but i am thinking of getting a little darker type of wood, like american walnut or something like that.

And change to something like this:

Why not sand it off and stain it? Your desk is nice, it would be a shame to throw it out.
I prefer natural wood without any oils or other types of treatments.

If i replace the desk i would put my current one in the garage as a work bench so it wouldn't be that much of a waste. ;)

Untreated wood is a pain to keep clean though, as you probably already can tell. A darker wood isn't really going to change much. One spill with a wrong liquid and it's going to be a nightmare. Plus if you wear short sleeves, your arms will show up on the surface sooner or later.

Not telling you not to switch, just giving you a heads-up. There are many stains out there that you can't tell are there once you put it on. A dark walnut Danish oil (which isn't really oil) plus a matte finish polyurethane and you're golden. Anyway, good luck!

Please put T in front of your IMG tags. These pics are way too big.
