Is your wallpaper Ronnie Vannucci by chance?

I see the similarity between the two, but that's Dan Auerbach from The Black Keys. This video was playing on my iMac when I took that picture.

hey im wondering where you got that desk and chair? Thanks man awesome looking setup!

Thanks. Both of the desks pictured are from IKEA. The main desk goes by the name of JONAS or MALM, and the smaller desk off to the right is named LAIVA. The chair is from Staples, and its name is the Montessa Luxura Managers Chair.

My current bedroom setup. My workstation setup is way too messy to photograph. :p

Interesting, how do they sound?

They are incredible. They have ribbon tweeters that make the highs sound crystal clear. Eventually I am going to build a subwoofer to add to the mix.

Due to change of dorm, had to move my stuff to the folks' home for the summer. I bought an Ergotron dual monitor stand on eBay, put the laptop on it and ditched the mStand. It's a relief having the laptop actually float in the air instead of having that heavy thing under it.

(Gotta change that poster tho.. It gives me the creeps at night)

And the setup downstairs, where most of the work is done on nowadays:

I love the desk setup and the lights from the windows. Very simple. One of my favorite setups on this thread.

(Finally) Got through the whole thread, my favorite setup was aKCLee's. I also enjoyed whoever's setup had 2 keyboard with the magictrackpad connecting them together in the middle.

After some years looking like this:

001.jpeg

The desk started to give me splinters every single day and looked bleak and had alot of spill marks:

002.JPG

I found some sandpaper and some oil in the garage and spent a couple of minutes sandpapering the top and the corners, giving it alot more rounded edges, much more comfortable now ;)

the desk looks really nice after the oil. I think the coke bottles everywhere is hilarious. I remember myself having so much trash on my desk moving my mouse would knock stuff onto the floor. not any more though. cant have girls over when you got trash everywhere.

Thanks very much, definitely more in the price range I was looking for.

Indeed! If you're not in need of a new chair right now though I'd wait, as the price just jumped back up $70 -_- Office stores in the US can vary wildly by price - we bought mostly new chairs last year for ~$60-70 and those are going for well over $100 right now for some odd reason -_-

It's best to wait for a sale :)

UCF!!! I'm a fellow Knight Alumni. :D

Go Knights!! I just had an interview with another fellow Alum.

Where did you get your mouse mat? :)

I got it from Amazon - It's a Fellow's $4.00 something --Okay, but catches particles in the air on it and then the Magic Mouse doesn't read all that well on it.

That's more like it! Nice and cluttered is how it should be ;)

Actually, I just built this custom shelf this weekend - Salvage Poplar wood, with lights and brackets from Ikea. Switch is operated from beneath my desk and I ran the cables in the wall and down, out the bottom.

Thanks! I used some recycled outlet wall plates and a A/V wall plate to make a custom cable tray:

Now I just need cable management like you. You inspire me. Hah! There's a project for Labor Day.
