The USB ports work sometimes. I'm pretty sure it doesn't work at all with my iPhone, but for normal flashdrives it's OK. The reason why I like it is because I can put both my Keyboard and trackpad underneath to 'hide them'.

Thanks for the confirmation. It looks great indeed and matches the aluminum look. I will purchase it alongside with an apple remote. I also heard the usb cabe that comes with it is quite short and the iMac is not necessarily standing on the center if you were to plug it in. Is this true? One more thing, how many ınches or cms does it add in terms of height?

It comes with a Micro USB Cable that connects from the Quirky to to the Mac. This is obviously required so data can be shared. It's like 2.5-3 feet long and on the side where the USB Ports for the iMac are. Plenty of cable IMO. As for the color, it's slightly lighter. Not really noticeable, but it's wood or some type of plastic, not aluminum. As a bonus, there is two more USB Ports in the back. I use one to charge my Nintendo 3DS.

My 24" stands directly in the center. Its nearly perfect sized for my 24" iMac.

It's about 2" tall.

Right, Great Stuff. Can't wait to try it out. Is it not as sturdy as it should be due to it not being aluminum or is it good enough? And one last thing, people have been saying from what I have read on the net is that it's got these led lights that are bright and on all the time on the front? Is that the case?

Thanks a lot!

It's sturdy enough. it can hold my 24" and I don't see any bowing. I previously had a white 24" iMac which is a bit heavier and that was fine too.

Yep, two lights. They serve no purpose and are on 24/7. Not really annoying to me....but I bet you can just pop them out.

Where did you get the mouse mat ? I really like it.

Its the JustMobile Alupad, while it's better than the wooden desk top, its not 100% awesome. It looks good, sturdy aliminium and white plastic on top. However, the plastic seems to be rubbing off. JustMoble have told me whey would replace the unit though, so no worries i guess. Great service. It's available on Amazon.com, .co.uk and probably with other suppliers. I bought it in Norway.

^I sometimes wish the Apple Keyboard was all white like in your pics. It just looks so much cooler, imo.

Yes it is kind of cool.

How are those speakers? I'm having a hard time between chosing those and KRK speakers.

I love the speakers so far and am glad I bought them. All the reviews I read gave positive comments. The sound is amazing for such small speakers, the bass is good however after connecting the sub I noticed a big difference, and sounds a lot better. Even without a sub they sounded amazing though, and I love the white finish as well. If you end up going with these, I'm sure you will like them.

Thank you for the answers, think that I am going to purchase them. Can you take a picture of your subwoofer as well?

I got myself a new huge screen.

30" CD. 2008 if I understand correctly.

Man, that's one hell of a screen.

I'm now using a base 2011 Mac Mini as my primary system. It was to the right of it's current position in the picture. Had a small lenovo laptop as my main system.

It absolutely is and it will be hard to move from that to any glassy gloss screen on the iMac if I ever have to upgrade.

That's very similar to my set-up. Nice monitor. :p

On any other forum I'd agree, but obviously a Thunderbolt Display is compleeeeeeetely different on this forum :D.

I have to say, having had a 27" iMac, the glossy screen did look gorgeous when well-lit, maybe even nicer than this one.

Well, don't upgrade to an iMac then. Mac Pro should get an update 'soon' (TM), hopefully it'll be good!
