Hello everyone, after stalking this thread for years and checking this site on a daily basis, I finally decided to register!

Here is my mac setup at boarding school, I am 15.

Nice and simple for a 15 year old student. I am still in love with those displays and really want to pick one up for a dual monitor setup. Great choice!

Thanks! I'm still keeping my beedy eye on ebay, and watching out for more cheap cinema displays, I'm in love with them. I want a triple monitor setup eventually. (not at school, at home).
Your sig reminded me I forgot to mention, I've ordered my iPhone 5, and I currently have an iPhone 4, of which took the picture.

Here is my current setup nice and simple. Ikea desk with usb drives in the side cabinet and internal cable management. I boot from an external ssd with the seagate thunderbolt adaptor and it works very well.

Very nice. Do you use the Magic Trackpad with your left hand and the mouse with your right?

Yes to both, the desk works very well. Using the trackpad with my left hand took some getting used to but I love my setup now.

My current setup. Thinking of maybe getting some speakers, and if so I think I will also go and get a larger desk.

Soundsticks would look good with that desk. The base of the sub looks allot like the shape of your desk.

Yep, I was thinking of those speakers.

I think I might just go for them, and stay with this desk. I was a bit worried about crowding it a bit to much. However I see that the side of the desk would work fine.
If I find it to be to crowded in the end, I could always use something like this to store the MBA away.

Thanks for giving me an idea, although my wallet might be slightly less glad :p

I recently had to re-vamp my entire office after my huge office desk fell apart.

Here's my latest setup. I'm really enjoying the less 'formal' vibe and the light, bright clean lines (my previous setup was dark timber veneer and twice the size).

What DAC are you using in your setup?

Wanted to post my [terrible quality] picture of my current home setup. I use my Mid 2011 MacBook Pro more often when out and about.
I'm using my original iPhone (iPhone 2G) while I wait for my new iPhone to come in the mail, as I already sold my 4.
Those are the original Think Different posters from the education set mailed out in the 90's. I got them for free because they were no longer being used when I graduated high school.

My Desk for University

Hello

just a quick update of my desk area as I go into my second year of Criminology at University :).

Theres been nothing major and only a slight rearrangement to the desk, I just purchased an old GPO 746 telephone and converted/rewired it on sunday morning. The phone works awesomely and matches the 70's feel of my room rather well. This is possibly the more modern section of my room, but I still tried to incorporate a few vintage touches :)

My new setup as my second year at engineering studies. Had a small desk before (1m wide), changed to a 2m now.
