I've updated my setup since march... I got some art for Father's day (Batman movie posters - thanks to this forum, forgot which user though) and added a set of Star Wars reprints that i liked. I also removed one of the extensions from the Galant desk as I needed to make some room in the office.

On a related note, I got a K810 today (the dark grey version of that Logitech keyboard), and it's aweeeeesoooome.

I'm loving the ability to tap f2 and then start replying to messages on my phone while at my desk ^_^

How do you like the Dell Monitor? Is it a good option for an external monitor? how much was it? Also how did you get the time clock like that?

Here's some of my setups over the years. I'm just about to trade in my iMac for a macbook so thought it'd be a good time to posts these while I invest some money into my new setup.

- I really like this monitor with a relatively cheap price, fits perfectly with my work in the field of graphic design, which requires color accuracy. This monitor use IPS panel technology for outstanding color consistency across a wide viewing range. The price about $300. specification Dell u2312HM

- Time clock >> Live Wallpaper available on App Store :)

Perfect. Thanks! I just ordered one!

Next question: where did you get the prints on your walls?

Cheers!

The Batman posters are from a artist on Etsy.

The Star Wars posters are from here. http://mixedtees.com/star-wars-all-posters

A couple warnings about the Star Wars posters... They are normally printed in a larger size, 24x36(mine are 12x18). Also, these are copies of a limited edition poster that was released in 2010 (FYI, in case anyone has an issue with that).

Loving your setup man, nice and simple and clean, the way it should be :)
:apple:

Exactly my thought :) I like it nice and clean, thanks

I'm also very content with the position of my desk :D

A different part of my set-up:

I'm using a FiiO D03K, for 30,- it gives superb stereo audio from Optical In to 3.5mm. From now on my Apple TV has great use, instead of having no receiver with Optical In and thus an useless port. All are connected but the micro-USB port :)
It is time to pick up a new Airport Extreme though

Recently sold my 27" Thunderbolt Display for a 27" iMac.

Shown:

27" iMac
15" rMBP
iPad Mini
Hercules XPS 101 speakers (behind desk)

Not shown:

iPhone 5 white
MacBook black
MacBook white
B&W P5 Headphones
iPhone original, 3G, 3GS and 4 stored away in their boxes (all pretty mint).

Hey man, just curious as to why you switched from a MBA 11 to the rMBP 15 - I've seen your previous setup on another thread a while back. I'm currently in the a similar position, contemplating on whether to make the switch, afraid of regretting it later on. Did you by any chance consider the rMBP 13 when you bought the 15? How do you find your setup now compared to when you had the 11? Any regrets?

The wallpaper you have set on the MBA, is it one of the default desktop pictures? I'm asking because I have a MBA but I don't recall ever seeing this one.

Actually, It went like this (chronological order):

27"iMac + MBA 11" 2011 model
11" MBA 2011 model + 27" TBD
Antiglare MBP 15" 2011 model+ 27" TBD
15" rMBP + 27" TBD
15" rMBP + 27" iMac.

I bought a 11" MBA because I had an external 27" screen (first iMac, then TBD). I decided to purchase the 15" Antiglare MBP simply because I was offered one at a very good price and decided I wanted one Mac with more power (thus switched to 27" TBD). The switch to the rMBP was because I wanted to retain the screen size and power while going retina, thus the 13" rMBP was no option.

I then sold the 27" TBD because I could (re)-purchase an 27" iMac without paying more than what I sold the 27" TBD for. Don't ask me why. The use of Dropbox makes storing my documents and all so easy that I often don't notice where I edited one document.

So, in the end I'd say I loved the size and weight of the little Air, but the 15" rMBP is perfect for me. it's not heavy by any means and offers more power, screen size, resolution etc etc and still in a thin package.
