Trust me, it bothers me too, but I need to get the right size cables before I do that :D

I hear ya. I had cables everywhere before I decided to run them through the wall. Now that I've purchased a few new devices it can be a bit of a pain to keep running things through walls and taking them out. When I get my PS4 I want to lay the PS3 and Xbox to rest meaning more mucking around with taking cables out of the wall etc. I can see the benefits of just leaving them outside too. ;)

Hey Guys

I am in the process of fixing my study room with a costumed late 2013 27" iMac on its way, I have posted some pictures of my late 2013 Macbook retina, and my TV with Apple TV hooked up.

My humble set up.

It will soon be moving to a smaller desk in the bedroom to make way for a baby room. :)

Not pictured: iPhone 5 (x2), iPad Mini, and iPod Nano.

Where did you get yours?
A place called Azar Displays website. They also had them on Amazon, but they were cheaper ordering them direct. They came with 4 small cubes and a larger cube with 2 shelves:

(this is an older pic, but you can see all four cubes and the taller one is in the back of the room with a Tigger and speaker on top of it)

My office/man cave...

iMac 27" (late 2009) - My first Mac. I've had it for 4 years now and it has been an amazing computer. I haven't had any problems with it and it is still running as fast as the day I got it.

Macbook Air 13" (mid 2013) - Purchased this to use around the house and to take out and about when required. Girlfriend uses it all the time

Fostex Active Monitors
Nexus 7

Optoma HD65 Projector linked up to a Philips Blu-ray player (out of picture) projecting an 82" image on to the opposite wall. Sound for projector is using Microlabs FC330 2.1 sound system (out of picture).

Photo was taken with my iPhone 5s Gold 16GB

Very nice! The keyboard way offset from the screen like that hits my nerd OCD though (and I doubt it's very good for the ergonomics).

Haha, it is really only like that when I am done working. I move it around a lot on the desk depending on how I am sitting. For example, as I type this it is dead center in relation to the monitor.

Sorry to get your OCD all worked up. :)

Here's my setup with a few deskstuffs missing and some personal things covered. But the important stuff is there.. like my One Direction cup holding a cactus.

DSC_0007.jpg

40-something inch Samsung LED tv
Xbox 360
PS3
Apple TV2

2012 iMac 27"
2012 (I think) 13" Macbook Pro on a bookarc stand
Swan M10 speakers
iPhone 5s on a Belkin charge and sync dock
Logitech K811 keyboard
Lacie Thunderbolt SSD, which is the startup drive for my iMac

I have an iPad Mini 16gb in white, but i'm letting a friend borrow it so she can figure out whether she wants to purchase one for herself.

And there's usually a Kindle Paperwhite on my desk charging, but I was lazy and left it next to my bed the night before taking the photo.

I think that's it.

What kind of office/desk chair is that? Name/model would be appreciated. We're looking for a new office chair, and that looks perfect!
