Here's my setup in my new apartment! I'm currently running an M1 Max 16" MacBook Pro with a 20" Apple Cinema Display, which is still a phenomenal display nearly 20 years on.

I've got a 20" too, I absolutely love it! Only thing is that it does get pretty hot when used for long periods of time.

From that angle, the 16" almost looks like a 2010-2011 17" MacBook Pro... I love the retro look/feel

What kind of hooks? I was looking at the store the other day and couldn't find anything the brick would fit on.
My idea is to use those question mark type looking hooks.
However, the hooks are NOT for the brick part, merely for the cable directly on either side of the brick. Merely an idea...

That is a nice setup, and a lot of equipment.
Surely that room is pulling some serious power, no?
Thank you.

It isn’t too bad because most of the time it is just the computer, a set of monitors, a display, a few peripherals and one audio interface that are turned on at any one time. If I’m doing a big mix session then maybe half a dozen pieces of board are turned on at the same time, but that isn’t most of what I do.

Took this earlier this year, I think February. I miss this setup, honestly. Though I don't have room to recreate it, since my TV is where the Quicksilver was.
I love that picture. I tells me that I am not an idiot to buy a dual tray upgrade for my 12 year old MP5.1 in 2022.

And from an arcade point of view, I think its super great. I bet, the real hidden gems are somewhere inside in form of rare arcade ROM's, apart from that great looking G4 Quecksilber PowerMac. It never gets old and gaming never gets old.

@AlexMaximus If upgrading what you have gets you to the performance you need to run the software that gets your use case done, it's not stupid to upgrade, it's responsible.
The oldest Mac I have in some sort of service, albiet not as all-encompassing as my G4 Hi-Res that until I get an Apple Silicon MBP is my daily driver laptop, is my 333MHz PowerBook G3 from 1999 which I use mostly to tinker with Mac OS X DP2, but do occasionally do stuff with. Mostly writing in Office 2001 and occasionally playing games or listening to music. It has CF storage so I've got the space for it, a 16GB Mac OS card (X DP2/9.0) and a 64GB Linux card that get swapped between, and 320MB of RAM.

Here's how things look right now. TV is being put away again because it's making a concerning buzzing noise. I still prefer my CRT monitor, but it's stored away for now until I get a one-piece desk. Though I'll probably replace it outright with my new Compaq MV920. This desk folded a little concerningly with both my CRT monitor and my TV.
