How well does the wool felt deskpad wear? I had one from GroveMade that pretty much shredded after a few months of usage... it seems that I could not withstand the mouse movement, and the fabric started balling up and getting "stringy". I had to toss it in favor of the leather versions.
I’ve only owned it for a few weeks so I’m probably not qualified to say yet. So far, 0 complaints.

I use it for typical office work (email, powerpoint, excel) and like yourself no issues. It's fine. The charging on the bottom is never an issue - always get enough notice and it takes minutes to charge up. Plus I like the aesthetics of it.

Is the Magic Mouse comfortable in the hand? I've been using an Apple wired Mouse M5769 and I love the shape and feel of it. The shape of the Magic Mouse looks too flat.

I don't like it. The hand feel is the only problem I really have with it, but it was enough to go and get a $12 corded mouse instead.

I love it... and yes, it's comfortable in my hand.

There are two main ways that people hold the mouse. Some hold it loosely with finger tips and thumb, and for those, the MM is difficult to use. The other group "palms" the mouse and rests their entire hand on the mouse. For those who hold it that way (that's how I hold it), it's quite comfortable.

There's neither a "right" or "wrong" way, but how you hold a mouse in general will dictate whether or not the Apple Magic Mouse works for you.

I hold it loosely with finger tips and thumb. I'll look on E-Bay for an older Apple Mouse or Mighty Mouse.

Is there a significant difference between the current trackpads and the much older ones (those that had the batteries), I've got the latter and not a fan of it compared to mouse.
