xUKHCx, nice clean setup, and nice equipment. Thanks for sharing. :)

I second that. When was the last time you posted your setup? I've been around since the final days of Part 1, and haven't ever seen you post it, if I recall correctly.

Always nice to see a mod's setup.

Cheers, supposed I should've listed what it is.

iMac 20" 2.16GHz 2GB RAM 256 MB X1600
iPhone 8GB 1.1.4 Unlocked
Macbook 2.2GHz 4GB RAM

The external drives are hidden away under a bookshelf in the other corner of the room.

Can't remember posting it, might have a little dig around to see if I did.

edit:Found it

I have posted before but you can't see much of my setup. I still have the eyes but they haven't made it back onto the iMac yet.

Not sure if you mean me? I haven't posted my setup yet as I have only a really crappy digital camera and am holding off on getting a DSLR. :) Plus, I should probably take care of the cable nightmare I have going on first as well hehe.

pfft, I doubt we all want to see all 9MP of glory that is your Desktop. Whatever you post you'll want it to be at most 1024x768 anyway. So go ahead! Show us the goods! :p

Oh really? What made you think that?

OK, that's eerie. I own or have owned EVERY SINGLE THING in your sig.

It is just the only pictures I've seen of your setup before are either old Macs or new PCs. :) Then again, my main computer was a PowerBook G3 until Christmas. :D

That's a very nice setup. That tv looks very sharp too.

I never thought I'd see your setup after all this time, nice to see, kinda bland, but nice and simple, what carrier are you using for your iphone?

Bland?

It is a student house so I have what I am given in terms of furniture and space, which there is very little of. Apart from that corner I have a bed and a small corridor ish carpet leading to the computers.

I don't see it changing much in the future because any money I will have (assuming I actually get a job) will be spent on a mortgage rather than pretty things at least for the foreseeable future.

The iPhone says it is on LFC (notice a theme) but it is actually 02, albeit not the iPhone contract, I get a much better deal for less.

P.S. Wow, jinx, xUKHCx made the image the second i hit the quote button, i was about to comment on the fact, but, wow, amazing, he already did it .
I didn't actually add the tags I was going to but someone else did it as I went in to do them but since I was the last person leaving my name was left. I think IC3D actually added them as it is not the usual message from one of the mods. And we ask people to report posts rather than replying just to say add timg tags.

Oh, I see that makes sense.

I was about to say for your iphone, you could just sacrifice it and go for O2 and get a "legal" iphone for the upcoming apps. I don't know, maybe something will happen your iphone if you plan to install apps from the upcoming SDK, just a thought.

My deal with 02 is flexible enough that if i decide to go onto the iPhone contract I can whenever I want for no penalty. I guess we will know soon enough about the whole SDK thing but I imagine it won't be too long before it is sorted. All I really want is Omnifocus integration, MMS :)rolleyes:), Note syncing.

I have only just started using my iMac on a daily basis again recently, I even offered it to my gf. The little MB is very quick although it does suffer from a slower disk to the iMac + smaller disk space. But when it comes to writing the 13.3" is no match for the 20" as I can have two pages up at once at 110%. I sort of wish I had an external for the iMac so I could put some excel documents on there but I have them displayed on the MB and also on another space so I can grab tables when needed.

How do you sit and use the computer, it looks like a bed is butt up against the shelves?
