So I have been reading this thread, or should I say all five parts of the thread for years. I haven't posted because I didn't have a digital camera (and I wasn't going to borrow someone's just to take a picture of my computer). Well, I just got a camera (canon PowerShot SD1100 IS Digital Elph), so here are some pictures. Just to note, this is a temporary set up as I am just home from college and about to move into an apartment. The only difference between this an my normal set up is that I normally don't have the shuffle dock out. Also, as much as my dad had good intentions when he decided on built-in desks they leave no route for cord management (that is what the sideways photo is showing, my cord management = rolling the cords up on the corner of my desk :/). The last shot is of my Sharp 1080p and you can barely see my Creative Itrique speakers - those are for when I want to listen to music and turn off the comp.

If you look where it lists the categories for the wallpaper, one of them is computers. If you click on that,there are a good amount of apple related wallpapers. Also, there is good wallpaper in general.
It looks like you have tiger running on your MBP, and Leopard on your LG monitor. What computer is running the monitor?

At least I actually own a Mac, I'm no wannabe. It was more of an experiment and it works and it's fairly stable so I just kept using it.
Put that MacBook on a nice stand, or just a few books. I get neck problems working that way, you might want to rethink the angles and everything.
ditto, especially since you have an external keyboard; get something like a griffin elevator
How would putting it on a stand reduce space?
In fact, something like the Griffin Elevator would increase your space, and you could put yourself a nice lil' external hard drive or such underneath
Plus, I use my griffin on the bed as well, gives it a better height for viewing as well as reducing heat!

That light above is one of those ones thats supposed to replicate sunlight. I don't know about that, but it looks nice and makes a very pure light.
