Texas, unfortunately.
I use three apps at once minimum...

Well that's you. I run Leopard on an iBook of the exact same specs, and at anytime, you will find me with Safari/iChat/iTunes/MSN Messenger and perhaps one other app open, and that's about all it can handle. But that's fine for me, it runs very well.

Don't listen to people who say the bare minimum to run Leopard is 1 GB, it really isn't, if you're somewhat of a light user like me. (This is my main machine too, and you don't see me going nuts over it.)

I run the PB in my sig with iLife, iWork, Safari etc, and the only real problem is it tends to get really hot when watching video/3+ apps open, other than that, not a lot wrong at all.

Me too. And I LOVE my 12" Powerbook. Best laptop they ever made. Too bad they don't offer a modern-day equivalent.

Is it still your main computer? I'm thinking about getting one as a low-duty backup. Do you think it would perform well with Leopard and iWork/iLife?

The PB definitely shows its age. But it is doing fine for my needs. I think if you have the chance to get a good deal on a 12'' PB, go for it.

Rearranged everything last weekend. Oh, and I found someone who traded his A4 wacom tablet for my A5 one for a bargain. :D

Out of curiosity, why do you have your eyes centered on the external display? Isn't the iMac prettier? :p

It must look like this with the angle of the picture. Actually my eyes are centered in the middle, I almost use the external Eizo more though, the quality of that display simply pwnz (to speak in new internet terms) the iMacs screen. It's also thicker than the whole iMac though, so no big surprise. I have won the Eizo at a local graphic design christmas party 2 years ago. :)

Nice to see you have "the Fragile" and "mechanical animals" along with other NIN and Manson stuff on your shelf. Nice set up too.

This thread is getting boring with all this talk......no pictures:(

It's been a while. Moved several times since the last picture I posted. This is a very temporary setup. As you can tell, I don't have a desk so there is no room for my external drives or any of my cisco gear. Hmmmmm. All toys donated by my nephew aside from the big green one, mf doom, and the linux penguin mascot, tux.

it's a 23" ACD. I'm designing a desk right now, to include cable management, cutouts (counter sync) to allow flush installation of a mixer, turntable and some other audio goodies.:D

I also want to get an arm for my ACD so that I can use it in portrait mode.

Found these from 2 years ago.

This is old.

Then after a major clean up and 23" ACD purchase, about a year and a half ago.

*wishes he had an ACD*
Unless you really need the colour reproduction of the S-IPS panel, they're not worth the price. Though I say that, even if you are in the market for the best colour reproduction the ACD line is now so old that they really don't stand up to the competition from other manufacturers when it comes to specs & features (I'm talking about S-IPS Dell Ultrasharps, NEC Spectraviews, etc.).

Does anyone really need one? I just think they're cool-looking. :p
