My new desk ...

Nice! Clean, sharp looking setup.

Here's my latest... it's not so much "messy" as "constantly being used' ;-)

I really need a bigger desk.

I'd get a bigger desk. That MBP looks like it's about to fall off.

Yeah, it's not nearly as bad as it looks -- it's just a little bit of the corner that's over the edge. All the weight is on the desk; you could give that corner a good hard bump and the laptop wouldn't budge.

That said, I still need a bigger desk -- I really shouldn't be stacking monitors on my speakers!

Looks very familiar...

We're twins now :cool:

Sad about the medium brown loss, I love that color a lot more than our black-brown.

<snip>

I've also got those IKEA racks serving their duty on the wall behind me and two in the closet serving as my CD collection shelving. Looks like we have very similar taste.

<snip>

Love it as always.

Those shelves' content always amaze me.

You need another monitor, and a real headphone stand. =]

Thanks for the compliments, I wasn't expecting that! I did want to create a relaxing space, my job isn't exactly stress free and I need something peaceful to come home to.

The window overlooks beautiful downtown Toronto. :)

Mayb whenever you get a chance you can take a picture from an angle we can see the city from?? It sounds like the perfect office environment to me really.

Yea, I'd actually love a second monitor. 30" is a ton of space, but I still find myself wanting more. Sometimes I want to watch a video and work at the same time, use Safari and Pages simultaneously for research purposes while watching a movie or many of the other situations I find myself in. I'd love to put iTunes and Safari on one monitor so that I can focus solely on my work on the main monitor. Have nothing but Photoshop running on the main and all other civil stuff on the second. Maybe I'll search for a cheap deal on a 20" or something.

I plan on having dual 30", but probably wont jump for another until the new ones are announced and I can either sell my current and get two new ones, or get a matching 30" for a lower price.

+1. I also want to see the view. I always wanted an apartment overlooking downtown TO. Where abouts is it located (ur apartment - not in a stalking kinda way). I live in the suburbs (north york).

Very nice set up none the less!

Thanks! It's a work in progress, I just moved in here less than a month ago. I'll take some pictures when I get home from work.

I'm stuck up in midtown (Yonge and Eglinton). Not my first choice of neighborhood but it's so cheap to live here and I just finished up law school and am drowning in student loans so, it's good enough for now.

Nice! Yonge & Eg isn't too bad. I quite like it. Pretty central and on the subway.

Anyways lets get back on topic! :) Will wait to see your "view" pics

I'm just south of ya at Davisville and Yonge in Forest Hill. It's a bit quieter than where you're at, but at least you have tons of restaurants and bars, a movie theater, a gym and a Future Shop near by. I have to trek several blocks to get to where you're at.

My brother moved out of home so I move into his bedroom. It's much bigger and brighter than the one I was in before:
