Here at College... Nothing too fancy:

In the background, you can see my two WD Externals, and that's just a little Wacom tablet from a few years back. Printer is wireless, and my ScanJet is kept tucked away until I need it.

I actually got around to setting up my PowerBook G3, which is behind the MBP and not visible in this picture. It's good if I'm rendering something intensive on the MBP and I just want to check Facebook and e-mail. Gotta love late 90s tech!

Using this setup until I get a Mac Pro + ACD whenever new ones come out :)

My poor yamaha studio monitors aren't hooked up...no audio interface atm :(

That's sweet! I've said it before and I'll say it again, I wish I had that much space as a desk; I'm also starting to see the merit in working in a well lit environment, since all my physics work has to be done on a computer.

Very nice, tonie, but it's a bit too empty! Get some books in there! A printer? Another computer? It's farrr too sparsely-furnished for me haha. I mean, I don't even see a chair. You browse the web standing up? :)

Nice setup though. I love the mount on the monitor.

Thanks but oh I got books, I just cleared them off the desk to take some clean pictures :)

It's from Ikea, desk named "Galant" but I would recommend you get the T's legs.

It's piece of like tissue paper to absorb the light because I don't like direct light.

The bulb is only 13watts so hopefully nothing will happen.

I don't think you have much to worry about, even if it DID happen to spark, I'm pretty sure that tissue wouldn't stay lit long enough to ignite anything. Don't let us bully you around here lol
