im gonna ask anyway, what did u use for the ambient lighting?

I used the dioder LED strips from Ikea. They can do about 6-7 different colors and effects like transitioning. I'd recommend these if you want some nice ambient lighting.

Thats a wrist pad I ordered from china. Looks completely real, even up close. once you touch it you realize its fake. haha. but it works great!

Why does the Mini have no optical drive slot?

Since Steve taught us at the revealing of the MacBook Air that optical drives are obsolete, I thought I'd go hardcore and....

... no, just kiddin'. It's actually not a Mac Mini, but an NAS case that looks very similar plus apple sticker.

Hmm...good idea on using that IKEA pad for the notebook. I might have to follow suit after I build my desk

Alright, it's a 20" monitor.

I still cant decide if I want to get a 20" ACD or a Dell 24" LCD......

and even the few wires you see, still bothers me. if it were up to see, youd see nothing.
(dont mind the uncut zipties, i just finished moving some stuff around)

I use the velcro ties. I find it's much easier to move or remove things should I need to do so quickly. They also hold quite a few cables and you can get them fairly tight. $1 at our local dollar store for a pack of 8.

Thanks. Been thinking of taking them down so i can put some new pictures up. Probably when i get a new desk and i rearrange my room.

Yeah originally it was gonna be two 19's mounted up via VESA mounts but they wouldn't fit in between the shelf and so i mounted them upside down so i still had desk room under but ended up using one 19" and a 15".

It works and makes my setup unique haha.

Yup, I'm positive , I actually think 20" is a bit small, so go for the 24"
