Haven't posted a pic since I replaced my hackintosh with a 24" iMac.

This is a 24" 2.8 GHz iMac with 4GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive, connected to a Dell 2407wfp. On the left is a MacBook Pro 2.4 GHz (LED display) also with 4GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive (that's my work laptop) connected to a Dell 2007wfp. I use Teleport to control both of them with the iMac's KB/mouse.

Other Macs not pictured: my wife's black MacBook and the Mac mini attached to the plasma TV running Plex.

iMac 24", HP Compaq mini

<snip>

Sold my Aluminum MacBook for the Compaq mini. So much better :)

That's sweet. I just returned my MBA because it just felt like a REALLY expensive netbook. Now I'm thinking about getting the Mini 1000 because of the keyboard and I like the design the best.

It's a psychological thing. For some reason, every HP I've ever used has been horrible. Every Compaq has been decent. I know they're the exact same thing, but still...

I like the logo better, I was just wondering what your motives are. ;)

Can't buy a netbook for a while, though, as I just picked up a replacement for the iBook G4 : a Dell Latitude C610. 14" 1400x1050 screen, 1GHZ Pentium III, 512MB RAM, 60GB HDD, and a 5 hour battery. Not bad for $130. :D

Wait, I thought HP stopped making computers in the name of Compaq. Why does that Mini have Compaq written on it?

Why does GM manufacture and market the exact same cars under different names and with different badges?

Brand loyalty. Yes. Some people still buy Compaqs. It's the same as the Chevy purists who will pick a Silverado over a GMC Sierra any day.
