My soon to be set up... School has forced me to leave it there for a few weeks or so in case a moderator comes in... :(

Also a few issues that need to be resolved but I love it haha

My macbooks sitting here on a nice slab of walnut left over from a new kitchen :p

OK here is my setup, updated of course since i have moved house, with a bit of cable management there too

Items in the picture

1. New Keyboard
2. Mighty Mouse
3. Dual Samsung 22 inch LCD
4. Airport
5. MBP Sitting on a M Stand
6. My external HDD 320 GB with iMovie Files on it
7. External DVD burner.
8. Motorola V3xx and my 8GB ipod touch.

Really nice and clean setup... I love it :)

I like the fact that its sooo different from many of the set-ups here although it looks like something out of an Ikea catalog ;D

This is my setup.

I've gone through three desks since I got my 24 in October,
but I think I finally have what I was looking for.
My favourite thing on the shelves is the octopus.





My wife wishes that my desk was this clean all the time.


Any more pics? I'm looking at doing something similar with my room.

So you finally got a MacBook then!! Congrats on moving to the lighter side of computing LOL... what have you done with your W****** machine?? :D

Yup got my macbook just before Easter :D
Took about 2 days to adjust and its much better :)
My awesome acer laptop is on my floor at the moment lol, that baby served me very well, definitely got my moneys worth with it, not sure what I'm going to do with it but its still pretty damn fast :)

So... basically you've bought a very expensive, slightly brighter 24" iMac? With extra cablework? :p I hope you take that MacBook out with you often.

Ummm many people use an external monitor with their notebooks while in the office or at home. Frankly, my powerbook was a desktop replacement for 4 years that I carried with me in college. At home it was the octopus of notebooks with speakers, usb/fw hubs, display, etc. So yeah ... he bought an external screen ... that is not uncommon by any stretch of the imagination.
