I picked mine up for $70 shipped at TigerDirect a few months back.

Yeah I know they aren't too pricey, but I just have no money to spend on gadgets right now, I have to save up for a car before school starts . Also, me and a friend have a bet/challenge with each other to see if we can last 3 months without spending money on stuff we don't need or what is necessary. ;)

EDIT: I should probably post my setup now since I moved a week ago. This is only temporary until I get a new desk. Wow, my room has horrible lighting lol

I'm from Germany, and one of your major confectionery company is Haribo (which is a made-up word for a town here and the founders name)
and they produce "Gold Bären".

I found this link:
http://www.amazon.com/Haribo-Gummi-...r_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=grocery&qid=1247388615&sr=1-2

So i guess, they are selling them in the states as well..

i should have known they were haribo i love them
thanks for the link i cant get enough of them thats interesting how its just a made up word lol
thanks again

I could never find them when I lived in Canada, and are definitely one of the many things I will miss from Germany when I move this week.

Haribo. The wide variety of Milka. Doener. The McRib as a regular item on the McDonalds menu. Alt Bier.

But Canada has Tim Hortons.... so it all evens out.

uhh, Kinda everyone I know really dislikes the McRib ;). So taste really differs..
Im in south germany, my parents live in the north, and when i buy here a potato salad in supermarket, it has completely different ingredients.
Maybe even the gummibears the're sending to the state have an adjusted recipe, who knows?

Döner really rocks . they became most selling fastfood in germany lately, after years McDonalds dominated the fastfood market here.

Better shot:
2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Mac Mini ('09) & Core Duo MacBook (late '06)
Dynex 22" (Which I'm about to replace with an Acer cause it sucks)
Logitech Z-5500 5.1 & EX100 Wireless Mouse & Keyboard
iPod Classic & iPhone 2G 8GB

EDIT: Just got back from purchasing the my new Acer H233H, and I'm loving it, 450% better than the crappy Dynex (sold to aunt for $175)

Wow, you must love your aunt. ;)

My mom mentioned I was selling it so she offered. However, I paid $229 for it at Best Buy as it was on sale. Its on sale on the site, but in store, its $259 ($269 retail). I asked $200 on CL, and a guy offered $175, so my mom pretty much kicked herself when she realized had she not said anything, I may have gotten $200. But hey, I'll count it as a family discount. She already has a 52", so I guess they got it for their bedroom cause she said she was looking for another.

I have the same monitor.

Does yours hum when the brightness is below 80?

Gotta love those small powerbooks:)
Hopefully there is some truth in the rumors that Apple will release a new small notebook soon.
