This is like the 4th setup I've posted
I hate to criticize others' setups, but what's the point of having 5.1 when all of your satellites are in front?

Cause it's temporary until I move in less than a month.i agree. he spent way too much money on that speaker set to have all 5 of em infront of him.

... why spend over $100 on speakers if you're not even going to attempt to set them up correctly?

from the post right above yours:
I don't know why, but the scale of your setup messes with me a bit. I thought it was a Dell Mini 12", but then I noticed the size of your keyboard. For some reason, that monitor you have and the way it takes up the whole desk makes it look like a 27-30". *Head spins*
hah, that's true! Makes the keyboards look huge.
Why do you care what I do anyways?... why spend over $100 on speakers if you're not even going to attempt to set them up correctly?

Fair enough ... I didn't read the entire thread before posting my reply.
Back to the setups ... Here's my temporary rig while I reformat a pair of iMac G4s (1.25 GHz 17-inch):
Logitecg Z-5500's, They retail for like $350.

This is not in any way a permanent setup, but rather an interrim one. I plan on updating it during the fall
My netbook cost that much!!
Kind of puts my hand-me-down speakers I got from my brother to shame. Cyber Acoustics CA-5000 (which I find strange that I can't find them with google. Only CA-5001, which isn't the same thing)
Really like the wallpaper - mind posting a link? Thanks.

i got some today
is that the IKEA metal rounded desk leather thing? they say that it can mess up wireless signals in IKEA, didnt want to risk it. have you noticed anything?

Don't you miss having decent speakers? The iMac speakers are terrible. Also, can I have your before display?
