The MBP is 3+ years old and is getting replaced by a Mac Pro once they refresh again. My dad gets it. lol

Just picked up the speaker stands today, Sanus HTB3's, very nice!
The PC is currently headless. I'm looking for a monitor that would complement my future iMac 20" (any suggestions appreciated)

This set up reveals my Mac Pro, connected to a Dell 3007WFP-HC; my mouse is Logitech MX Revolution, and I just switched from the wired numeric keyboard to the bluetooth keyboard for more table space. My Mac Pro is connected to a 6TB Drobo for most of my media and file storage. A 3TB (RAID1 AKA 1.TB usable space) drive is my iTunes library; I don't really want to lose my purchases to drive failure, so that's the set up for that. A 500GB drive is shared to my MBA on the stand for Time Machine only. A cable modem and Airport Extreme Base Station is used to my Internet and network, respectively. Finally a Headroom micro stack and headphones complete the picture.

How does the Seagate external HDD perform?
I plannned to buy a 1 TB ext. HDD, either from WD or Seagate.
Current setup, Penryn MBP (2.4/4/500), with Griffin Elevator, Bose Companion 5's, 30" ACD, BT Keyboard and Mouse, 1st Gen iPhone and Universal dock.
ACD rotated 90 degrees with a picture of my little one.

But can the ACD come down a bit? I'd find it a bit uncomfortable to use, or it is just there to display nice pictures of your kid (who is beautiful, by the way)?
Very nice and simple setup, I love it! What stand is the MBP in? I've never seen it before. Looks pretty cool.
Its Logitech Dinovo Keyboard Mac Edition and Logitech MX 1100 wireless mouse.

Those two is with my old keyboard and mouse and the center speaker is in the middle of the desk.
What are you using for the ambient lighting?
He/she is probably using a set of Ikea DIODER lights... more likely than not.
