My cubicle.

^ LOVE that setup ... so simplistic and effective!

OK can we PLEASE get a closeup of the connecting wires for the external display please?

Thanks.

For sure!

But can the ACD come down a bit? I'd find it a bit uncomfortable to use, or it is just there to display nice pictures of your kid (who is beautiful, by the way)? :)

Well I'm quite tall, and I tend to sit back on the chair and look at the screen, also good for when people gather round, but I wouldn't want to do any typing on it, no (which I don't).

I really cannot wait until I get a Mac Pro, they're so sexy! :p Is it better to have them on the floor or on the desk?
I would put it on the desk if I had one and a bigger desk, mine barely fits my PB and a 17 inch square screen monitor as is.

My Home Desk

Here's my setup at home. It's actually a lot darker in here than it appears (hence the MacBook Pro's keyboard is lit up).

Contains the following:
- 2007 15" MacBook Pro with glossy display (for casual use)
- 20" Apple Cinema Display (for photography processing)
- 32GB 2G iPod touch
- 120GB iPod classic
- Bose QuietComfort 2s
- Nokia N85 8GB
- Apple wireless keyboard and Mighty Mouse
- Snow Leopard family pack. :D

Taken with my silver Canon Rebel XSi (450D) with a Canon 28mm f/2.8 prime lens, quickly processed in Lightroom 2.

Nice, clean setup BaronvdB. Any plans on getting an external display?

good call...yeah i'm actually thinking about getting one of the refurb 24" displays...i just traded my imac last week for a 15" mbp for my wife so we both could use the display when we felt like more real estate (i have the 13" mbp).
