my setup

I got my 1st mac, a mini, for christmas. My brother just finished putting this desk together for me... that old Dell is probably on its way out :)

 
I just got done assembling my late Christmas present, a new desk from Ikea! Here's my updated setup. Still working on replacing that old chair, though.

call me crazy, but i thought the ibook couldnt power an external display?
 
Yeah ... I use the Screen Spanning Doctor! The iBook isn't powerfull enough to display DVD's and smooth Flash-animations. But I love the display!

Short story:
I've removed the DVD drive and put the hard drive where it was. I've installed a fan where the HD used to be, blowing on the black heatsink. There's also a fan in the base, blowing up. I'm still gettin' temps in the 60's under load. I just now finished taking it apart and spreading Arctic Silver between the processor heatsink and the Cube heatsink, and am hoping that brings it down a few degrees.

Edit: I should mention that it's got a dual 1.5Ghz card in it, in case you don't notice my sig. Yeah. Runs kinda hot.

No your not crazy.... that was the first thing my girlfriend ever gave me :) Truly the most valuable thing in my room :)
