No kidding! It would look a lot better with an iCurve ... although this would look cool too:

I don't like the look of that actually. But if I had an external display it would be cool to have it on a flexible wall mount, so it would look like it was floating in the air.

I think I need an iCurve or something :p

Pfft. I reckon the box has character. I have my iBook on a bit of polystyrene packing insert with some cardboard on top and some little bits of polystyrene under the corners to provide more airflow.

Cop this iGary....

Yup, I now have two monitors..... that's 2048x768 of massive screen real-estatey goodness.

Who needs an iCurve when you've got stuff hanging around from moving?

Sadly the polystyrene iPod dock had to be retired as it was annoying me and the Mighty Mouse is off to the AppleCentre tomorrow morning for the second time (I don't think it likes humidity, this is the second time my scroll ball's jammed up).

And it is a recent photo, I just haven't been bothered to change the calendar page - it's nice to be able to look at a photo of Arizona under snow when it's so damned hot down here.

What part of Arizona are you in?

I love those glass + aluminum desks with the aluminum ACD on them. Wow. Very cool looking. :)
Glass desks are nice, but they are a PITA to keep clean.

If you're not dirty, than it's not hard to keep clean.

This is pretty close to bad. I found it somewhere on the web.

From a New Zealand sky...

I took it while I was in New Zealand. It's so much better in it's true form and not of a photo of the photo...

That dog looks like an old lady down the street who used to yell at me and my mates. Does anyone believe in reincarnation?

I hope your pup is nice.

My setup has been changed a little bit....more finalized. I purchased a belkin KVM switch to share this monitor, mouse, keyboard, and speakers between my Mac Mini and Athlon 64 system. iBook is sitting on top of my tower on an iCurve. Thinking of something I can do with it, might just sell it for like $300, it does have a broken hinge (Monitor is more or less only attatched by the wires, long story involving cat jumping on ibook, icurve, and cement floor) I do wish that the KVM switch supported my 5.1 speakers but 2.1 is fine since I'm rarely blasting my sound.

yeah it is, i actually have two of them, the other one is on the couch just out of the picture, they're great dogs and definitely the BEST, the one in the picture is mika, she's about a year and a month old, my other one is clover, she's about 8 and a half years, they don't get along well at all

this is them both together

i suppose i might as well add my setup to the list here.....

I lived in Phoenix when I was little. We still have friends over there who send out the Arizona Highways calendar to me every year - it's great, I can see winter photos at all times of the year, either on the calendar or out my window.

Oh well... here's my setup... work in progress actually... my iBook is not pictured as he's sleeping in my brother's room... I'm going to Ikea later today to buy some new stuff (lamp, etc.)!

p.s. I put a pic of myself in full-screen mode on the display :p

I've got an updated picture, I'm still waiting on my mac book pro which is taking forever to arrive. In the mean time I've picked up and refurb mac mini for my girlfriend. As her aging g4 tower was getting a bit long in the tooth. I got a lacie mini drive for it, I need to upgrade the disc from 80gb to 500gb but I will do that next week.

Piccies:

The cube is my fileserver and is actually a pc with 2 x 250gb hard drives in, the g4 tower is tucked under the desk next to another computer and a dreamcast but they will be going today hopefully.
