Bought some new speakers because my old ones were ugly and crappy. Would you believe I got this Logitech X-530 5.1 setup for $60 Canadian total, brand new? Pretty sweet find if I say so myself! :) Too bad I have no good places to stick the rear ones. Oh well...

You could try hanging them from the ceiling behind/above you. Use some speaker brackets and you can more easily aim them.

Nice! So, where'd you get that beautiful monitor, and does it have any built-in USB 2.0 ports? I'm in the market for a new 20 inch widescreen monitor, so I'd like to get something like that. :D

I got it from a local computer store in my city.
It's a viewsonic vx2025wm, 20.1 widescreen, max res of 1680x1050, 8ms refresh, dvi or vga, unfortunatly it doesnt have any usb ports - but for $499 canadian, i wasnt going to complain. i love this monitor :)

Just so you know - G4 Mac mini's with the ATI 9200 radeon cards can have trouble with high resolutions and dvi with certain lcds (including the one i bought) - but usually there is a fix. I had an issue, but used SwitchResX to create my own resolution refresh rate. Everything is working great now. Here's a link to more info...

For $499 CAD I got a Dell 2005FPW (Thanks to the recent '12 days of deals' promo). It has DVI, VGA, S-Video, Composite and a 4 port usb hub. :p :D

Yea, the speakers are quiet nice for what I paid - the bass is great.

The resolution is 1680x1050

Looks good, MankieApple! The wireless is what completes the look.

I love the wireless mouse and keyboard, but geez, my eyes couldn't handle that screen that far away!

Maybe an iCurve is in order for you. Get that screen closer to you and get a better view in general - save your eyes =).

I have the old speakers you had. Only mine are clean. :p

The bass on them is really good!

2 things about pic quality:
1. Pic taken with a Casio Exlim
2. It's the light, not the camera, that makes that look.

The cables on the right are what I use for phone charging and USB/Firewire inputs because the PM is on the floor over to the right.

The keyboard looks so small compared to the display! Cool setup, Malfoy.
