My floating iMac...

I finally wall-mounted my iMac today. Pictures of the entire process can be found here.

Please ignore the power cable and FireWire cable hanging at the back - I shall cover those up very soon, just too pooped now!

Yay, another eMac user! Cool idea on how the iPod is hooked up to side of the desk! BTW, what kind of printer is that? Looks very similar to mine (HP Photosmart 7450)

Keep workin on the printer. HP's printer drivers aren't the best but they are great printers! I know my Deskjet 5740 was stubborn when installing it for the first time a couple of years ago. Just wouldn't install. Try download drivers from HP site and see if that helps.

The eMac will do that to you. It seems like just a computer but soon you'll get addicted to it (I am pretty much the biggest eMac fanboy in the world). :p

Nice setup! :) I also checked out your flickr gallery and liked what I saw. I like how your iMac G3 is below everything else just for watching movies. It makes me want to do the same thing now...

Thanks :)
It took me forever to find out where to put that thing with such a small desk, and then I foudn a reason & a place to put it there.

Imagine someone who actually DOES carry that around everywhere.
And what a crappy resolution for a laptop of that size...

I can't believe large laptops like the ones posted on this page actually exist today. You'd think with all the great technology we have, these things would be a little thinner... and lighter!

What is it about those late model PM G4s that make them still sexy today? Shiny plastic? Smaller form factor? Rough and tough?

I don't know, but I would love to encase a dual G5 in one. With all the ports the current PMs have.

Specs from the left :

Apple mac cube converted into a mini-itx pc fileserver. It has 2 x 250gb hard drives and stores all my movies etc.

Mac Mini with a lacie mini hard drive underneath, this is my gf's machine and has a back drive with 500gb for my file server.

Apple MacBook pro is my latest machine I only got it last friday , its the 2.0ghz Dual Core model with 2gb of ram a x1600 graphics card and a 100gb hard drive.

Xbox 360 is next, I've been mainly playing kameo and nfs:mw on this for the last few weeks.

Finally my pc, this is a custom built shuttle system with a P4 3.0ghz (running at 3.6ghz) 250gb hard drive, an X800XT gfx card and sony dvd writer.

There's a ipod video 30gb next to the MBP as well.
