not-so happy switcher
Hey
Ubuntu doesn't know all the names, so I have to fill in the details: this is a powerbook G4 @1Ghz
1GB RAM
60GB HDD
a bluetooth dongle by Conceptronics for mobile internet access with any bluetooth phone (this was the last drop that made me give up using a laptop with windows xp)
with all the great things that I read about Macs and OS X, I didn't expect the Finder to be so clumsy... so here's a switcher that ends up dual booting OS X and Ubuntu Linux - that is, until I get Nautilus to run natively on OS X.
I also got a Powermac G4@400mhz which does a great job at serving files, printer and scanner, and a 3rd gen 15GB Ipod freshly formatted with FAT32 for easier file transfer accross my 3 computers.
