Go read the post where it was asked why they bothered to go to all the trouble of floating a Dell Display...if they were to do all tha work hwy not get an apple...thats what started all this crap up. Back to the setups...I need more ideas.

That is not saying that dell's are crap or even worse than apples, they don't look as nice though, which is the whole point.

hopefully these links work

Nice setup. Did you move from the clamshell to the macbook, cause if you did that must have been one hell of a jump in speed

my main computer was a dell inspiron 5100 for a while (my moms old computer), when i got near an ethernet port, i used the clamshell. but it doesnt have an airport card, and the dell had a wireless adapter. i do notice a HUMUNGOUS speed difference from both and i love my gig of ram, no slowdowns ever!

count chocula, very nice looking setup. BlackBook and Black iPod must look nice together. :) Apple's black hardware is beginning to grow on, haha.

I agree! This is just making me want a Black MacBook worse and worse!

Heh. I have a 300/G3 iBook Blue sitting here at home and I totally feel for ya. That must be such a huge huge change... heck you missed the G4 and G5 chips! Woah!

They do look wicked in black. I wonder how a MBP 15" would look in back? Hmmmm....

Looks pretty good. Nice view (where are you located?).

Edit: London?

Yes, from where i am my view is pretty good actually - im on the outskirts in the south - im quite high up hence the view of the river. Its nice when im making music in the evening and i look up and see the Thames, gives me inspiration.

Thanks for the feedback.

w_parietti22, that'd be pretty neat! Although the pro Apple machines (ie. PowerMac, MBP) have that classic aluminum look and I kinda hope it stays that way. I'd like a black iMac though :D

Colorware has them, but they are A LOT more expensive...

Today's work setup

A quick stitched photo from my phone.

Here are the Mac's at work. There are 2 G3 towers - on the crt's on the left, a Mac Mini on the crt on the right. And the 'books are a 15 inch, 12 inch and a new Macbook.

Usually there are only 4 - the G3's , the Mini and my PowerBook. One of my colleagues bought a new Macbook and needed his stuff transfered, so I was doing that as well.

My room was a Mini Apple Store today :D :D
