Very nice! Is that the 23" ACD?

I ordered the Altec Lansing FX-6021 speakers yesterday and they shipped today. How do you like them?

Love the speakers, full sound, good bass, and they also match the ACD perfectly.

Sweet... I don't see a Mini very often with an ACD. Is that a 23"?

Also, what are all those external HDD's for, it seems you have four?

BTW, love the speakers...

I have a total of 4 harddrives, the external drive to the right ( on the bottom) is a dvd-rw. The ministack runs tiger, one of the external hdd is a backup of that. The mini hdd has windows, and the last ext hdd holds all my media backups.

Wow, that's some setup. I think it would look much nicer if you hid them under the tabel for example?

Man there's something about a Mac Mini + Apple Cinema Display that is sooo freakin appealing to me. Must resist and wait for MBP... gah.

arcsbite: That is really cool setup dell moniter + blackbook. very nice looking.

Mockup

Ok, this is a bit early, as my Mac Pro hasn't been delivered yet, but I was playing around in Photoshop and made this mockup.

This is what my setup will look like when I've got my new Mac Pro and Cinema Display 23" in about three weeks. Can't wait!

The painting doesn't appear to be quite level though :)

What do I use it for? Sometimes I get to work at home and I work as a Researcher. So I need an extremely powerful workstation to run Mathematica calculations and fluid/flow dynamics. I can also send out the major tasks via Xgrid to my work's processing nodes/farm. That's it in a nutshell!

The picture, yeah it was crooked! I banged my head *really* good underneath the desk. I'm pretty sure that's what moved my 747.

You HAVE to post pics of that when you get it.
